We Waited Years for a McGregor KO, Sadly, It Was in a Nightclub

‘The Notorious’ Is Back!
Conor McGregor’s 14-second knockout over Jose Aldo to win the UFC featherweight championship is a percentage of what made him the biggest star in professional MMA. Further knockouts of Chad Mendes, Eddie Alvarez, and Donald Cerrone also made the Irishman a feared striker throughout his fighting career…
Now, five years after the last time we saw him win a pro fight by KO/TKO, we have another McGregor knockout to indulge in… However, there was no octagon or UFC fights involved, and his opponent didn’t stand a chance.

McGregor Two-Punch KO in Ibiza
Conor McGregor decided to throw a little surprise party for a club patron in Ibiza this week, and by surprise, I mean a couple of vicious punches! Video footage captured the former UFC superstar giving a man a taste of his fists during this unexpected altercation, as the former two-division champ was clearly displeased with an uninvited guest.
In a clip snagged, Notorious seemed to be having a blast with his pals at Pacha around 5:53 AM on Tuesday… when at one point, he leaned in and had a little chat with someone standing below him.
Well, it seems whatever was uttered didn’t quite tickle the fancy of the 36-year-old fighter… because he switched into full-on MMA mode and unleashed a pair of perfectly executed left hooks on the poor guy.
The man wobbled and took a tumble… but just when things were getting interesting, the footage took a break.
Naturally, being the top dog, McGregor wasn’t affected. It’s alleged that he continued to party with zero repercussions for his actions, as the fella who got dropped was escorted out of the club.

Are We Surprised?
At this point, McGregor’s involvement in UFC rumors and drama outside the octagon is nothing new.
The UFC’s inaugural simultaneous double champion has quite the track record when it comes to late-night escapades and a few too many run-ins with the nightlife scene, trouble, and one too many drinks. Everyone knows McGregor has a knack for making celebrity news headlines…
In 2023, he found himself in hot water for allegedly assaulting a woman in Ibiza, and let’s not forget his memorable moment from 2019 when he threw a punch at a 50-year-old bloke at the pub.
He’s been quite the colourful character, to say the least.

McGregor, 36, hasn’t laced up a pair of UFC gloves in nearly four years. Regarding legitimate fights and fulfilling the two remaining fights on his UFC contract, it’s starting to seem like a distant likelihood as the alleged billionaire continues living his life as if it’s a non-stop party.
Perhaps the random nightclub goer deserved a slap in the chops, maybe he threw some verbal jabs below the belt, but either way, the deep water McGregor finds himself in, the more glaringly obvious it becomes that he is no longer the professional athlete we once knew and loved.
