Jose Aldo by Decision (-110)
UFC odds tonight are giving Aldo plenty of respect and I believe he deserves it. He might have lost his most recent fight by decision to Mario Bautista, but his class can’t be overlooked.
The 38-year-old is the former bantamweight champion, and although he has never been the same since being knocked by Conor McGregor within seconds, he still has some tremendous wins on his record.
He scored a win last year over Jonathan Martinez by decision and he shouldn’t see Zahabi as a tougher opponent. Zahabi is 12-2 after winning well since joining the UFC, but he has yet to face someone of Aldo’s class.
I can’t see either fighter winning by knockout. They’re evenly matched but with Aldo’s work rate and champion qualities, my UFC prop bets tonight have Aldo winning by decision at -110. It’s a better price than -198 for the moneyline, and it’s unlikely Aldo wins by KO.

Aiemann Zahabi Over 2.5 Rounds (-370)
It comes as no surprise to see money come for over 2.5 rounds, which firmed into -370. My UFC picks are confident with this play, and it should go to the judges’ decisions at UFC 315.
Most of their recent fights have gone the distance, and Aldo was good enough to take champion Merab Dvalishvili to a decision, so he can take Zahabi there. The last fight Aldo had that didn’t go the distance came against Petr Yan in 2020 at UFC 251, so we’re going back a fair while.
Zahabi’s last two fights went the distance and because it’s only a three-round fight, that gives me more confidence to include over 2.5 in my UFC expert picks. Taking -370 isn’t easy, but when it comes to UFC fights this week, this is one of the easier calls.
