Fortunately, the return of football season helped alleviate the pain of having no UFC card this past weekend, but this coming Saturday, we’re back to business as usual. Dana White and co. return to the trusty Apex arena, and we have a sleeper fight night card filled with excellent matchmaking that’s worthy of our parlay betting attention.
The UFC Vegas 97 betting odds are live, and my tiresome research is complete so that only leaves one more task on my checklist, and that’s to provide you with the best UFC parlay betting picks for this weekend!
Let’s get it!

Top 2 Parlay Picks for UFC Vegas 97
1. Jessica Andrade vs. Natalia Silva
I know what you’re thinking… Two highly athletic Brazilian women are about to climb into a cage and wrestle with each other in skimpy attire, but take your mind out of the gutter because this pair is going to bring violence.
For Andrade, she’s fought the who’s who of women’s competitors over the last 11 years. Her veteran quality of experience is always a concern, as are those iron fists that have finished many foes. Still, a 17-10 promotional record includes eight losses inside the distance, as her durability is always a red flag when faced with elite-level competition.
Natalia Silva is a rising contender with just five UFC appearances to her name. That said, she’s won all five of those contests and it hasn’t been close. With a spinning back kick and a head kick knockout already on her resume, she isn’t just a well-rounded martial artist, but an ultra-talented one too.
Good luck Natalia

Bet on Natalia Silva to Win the Fight (-300)
There’s Only One Moneyline to Back
I don’t like the UFC betting odds taking so much action on Silva, but with the opening odds long gone, I’m not so opposed to backing the Brazilian favorite as a parlay piece.
Silva has made respectable competition look unworthy of their position on the UFC roster. While Andrade is forever a threat with those aggressive, powerful bombs, Silva’s movement, wrestling, and striking cleanness are much more notable.
I anticipate that precision striking behind beautiful combinations, a significant size advantage, and good enough takedown defense to prevent Andrade from having her way in clinched situations will be the key components that dictate how Silva wins. With questionable durability, I wouldn’t be surprised if the dog got finished, but either way, we’re backing Silva ML without hesitation.

Silva Moneyline Supporting Betting Trends:
- Silva is undefeated as a UFC flyweight (5-0)
- Andrade has lost 10 UFC bouts to date
- Andrade has been stopped by KO/TKO or submission in 3 of her previous 5 bouts
The timing of that spin kick was just impeccable! 🎯

2. Rong Zhu vs. Chris Padilla
Rong Zhu and Chris Padilla, two up-and-coming UFC lightweights, are both riding a four-fight win streak, but somebody’s upward trajectory will take a hit this Saturday in front of the Apex Crowd, and I will definitely include this fight in my UFC predictions for the night.
Padilla has thrived in an underdog position, most notably with a +340 price tag in his UFC debut earlier this year. He initiated the wrestling early and choked James Llontop into submission, and now, we’re looking at dog money on the talented “Taco” yet again.
I understand the oddsmaker’s stance, though; Rongzhu holds 30 fights of experience, and his wrestling credentials aren’t to be overlooked, as many of his regional scene outings have involved him thriving as a pressure-based grappler.
“Now it’s time to make statements.”
After an exciting performance in his @UFC debut, Chris Padilla hopes to build on that during his fight against Rong Zhu at #UFCVegas97

Bet on Rong Zhu vs Chris Padilla Fight Going Over 1 ½ Rounds (-180)
Two Finishers? Bet the Over
The MMA betting lines favor Rongzhu, but I smell an upset coming. Either way, we aren’t interested in moneylines for this bout, as two well-rounded fighters who aren’t afraid of grappling and have displayed solid durability for most of their careers point toward the over-being live.
Both men can mitigate dangerous situations by shooting for the takedown or clinching up, and they’re equally capable of defending submissions on the ground. I wouldn’t be surprised at a late stoppage stemming from who wins the war of attrition, but the over being set at 1 ½ rounds doesn’t make sense when we have two fighters who’ve fought to the second round and beyond on many occasions.
Over 1 ½ Rounds Supporting Betting Trends:
- Padilla has seen over 1 ½ rounds in 3 of his previous 6 pro-MMA bouts
- Rongzhu has seen over 1 ½ rounds in 6 of his last 8 pro-MMA bouts
