Big Ben Rothwell Anchors UFC Fight Night

Bettors are getting excellent value with the UFC Fight Night undercard, which includes Ben Rothwell vs Marcos Rogerio de Lima.

There will be plenty of attention for the main fight between Max Holloway vs Yair Rodriguez, but we’re loving the action with the lead-up fights.

UFC betting odds are available for the three undercard fights on Saturday.

Rothwell vs Rogerio de Lima

Rothwell and Rogerio de Lima are experienced fighters, but we’re giving the edge to Rothwell.

The 40-year-old has a significant size advantage over his Brazilian opponent, and he showed his all-round skills when facing Chris Barnett in May.

He scored a second-round submission victory over the 21-7 fighter, which was a nice hit back after losing to Marcin Tybura.

Rothwell owns wins over Ovince Saint Preux and Stefan Struve, which both came following a three-year hiatus.

Rogerio de Lima is 18-8-1 got the better of Maurice Green in May, and he showed his power when knocking out Ben Sosoli in February with a first-round knockout.

We think Rothwell has a clear advantage. He’s one of our UFC best bets at -155, so include him in UFC parlays.

Pick: Ben Rothwell -155

Yadong Song vs Julio Arce

Yadong Song is the -145 favorite to beat Julio Arce, but he is giving away a sizable reach advantage.

The Chinese fighter rebounded from a loss in March with a win at UFC 265. Getting exposure on a big fight card was good for Song, who scored a statement win over Marlon Vera.

“We’ve been focusing on my cardio and grappling this camp,” Song told UFC.com. “I need to be more well-rounded instead of relying on my striking. I have awesome grappling as well and I just need to use it. Last time I was a slow-starter, so this time I’m going to pick up the pace.

“I’m still young. I still have plenty of time to improve. Enjoy your life. Just do it.”

That form has been franked with Vera defeating Frankie Edgar last week, so even though Julio Arce is 17-4, Song is the quality fighter in this matchup.

Arce knocked out Andre Ewell in July after almost two years out of the Octagon. The 32-year-old New York native doesn’t have the same class of wins as Song, so we’re going with the favorite.

He is the clear favorite with the sportsbook and bettors should be confident in his chances.

Pick: Yadong Song -145

Felicia Spencer vs Leah Letson

Felicia Spencer is one of the shortest favorites on the card at -315. She comes off consecutive losses, but against much harder opposition than Leah Letson.

Spencer fought Amanda Nunes for the title at UFC 250, which was the main event. That experience should do her the world of good, and despite being subsequently defeated by Norma Dumont, that level of opposition was also tough.

Letson is 5-2 but her only notable win came in 2018 when winning The Ultimate Fighter Finale over Julija Stoliarenko.

We don’t expect that form to hold up well against the class of Spencer, who should be able to finish the fight early.

Spencer is paying +175 to win via KO, TKO, DQ or submission, which is a price well worth adding to UFC parlays.

Pick: Felicia Spencer by KO (+175)
