Most of the early UFC betting action has come for Manon Fiorot, who is 9-1 and the current -200 favorite in Saturday’s bout against Katlyn Chookagian.
She won’t have it all her own way against Chookagian, who is battle-tested at 18-4 and could spring an upset in the flyweight division.

Underdog Back to Her Best
Chookagian is back to her best form with four consecutive wins following a loss to Jessica Andrade in 2020.
The 33-year-old has since beaten some quality fighters, including Amanda Ribas in May, and that fight holds her in good stead.
Despite the sportsbook listing the underdog as a +160 chance, we believe Chookagian has a much better chance to beat Fiorot than the odds suggest.
The brown belt Jiu-Jitsu holder has many facets to her fight game and she could give Fiorot some problems. She also has the experience edge, which can’t be overlooked on such a big card at UFC 280.
She demands respect and bettors get odds worth entertaining.

Fiorot Expecting Exciting Fight
Laying -200 on Fiorot isn’t easy, but she’s a confident fighter with the title shot on her mind.
“It’s better for the rankings because Katlyn is higher,” Fiorot told MMA Junkie. “But I respect her. I know she’s one of the most technical fighters in the division, but I win this fight, and I swear it’s not boring“.
“She’s definitely a gatekeeper if I can talk like that, but I’m happy because I’ll show that I can beat the gatekeeper and do my job. Definitely, after the fight, I’ll call out Valentina (Shevchenko) for the belt.”
UFC odds believe it will be an easy victory for Fiorot, who comes off a win against Jennifer Maia. It’s not scintillating form, but good enough to be installed as the overwhelming favorite.
Bettors should be concerned by her lack of quality opponents, and Chookagian is no pushover. The 32-year-old needs to find another level to win in Dubai on Saturday.
