UFC 274 Prelim Picks
Andre Fialho vs Cameron VanCamp
- Moneyline: Cameron VanCamp +300, Andre Fialho -400
- Round Totals: TBA
- Weight Class (Rounds): Welterweight (170 lbs) (3 Rounds)
If Andre Fialho’s name sounds familiar to you, it’s because he recently fought and won a few weeks ago. Fialho (15-4-0) cashed our knockout prop bet against Miguel Baeza just three weeks ago. We’re going to the well once more and picking him to wax the newcomer, Cameron VanCamp.

The Portuguese slugger has proven himself to be a durable hard-hitter and that spells trouble for VanCamp (15-5-1), who could look to get this fight to the ground. The problem for him is that Fialho has enough of a ground game to not get smoked here. At some point, he will find VanCamp’s chin and put him away.
Pick: Andre Fialho -400
Brown vs Khaos
- Moneyline: Randy Brown EVEN, Khaos Williams -130
- Round Totals: Over 2½ (-105), Under 2½ (-125)
- Weight Class (Rounds): Welterweight (170 lbs) (3 Rounds)
In this pick’em fight, we favor Khaos Williams to knock Randy Brown out. The online sports betting odds have this as a close one because Brown (14-4-0) is the more technical fighter. The Jamaican-American keeps growing in his tenure with the UFC but he has an Achilles Heel that Williams (13-2-0) can exploit: his chin.
Brown’s (14-4-0) last two losses have come via knockout, with one being from Niko Price who was on his back. Williams has the notorious “death touch” in that he only needs to land a clean punch and he can put anyone out. In a fight he could be losing on the scorecards, Williams will put Brown down.
Pick: Khaos Williams -130
Chiasson vs Dumont
- Moneyline: Macy Chiasson +180, Norma Dumont -230
- Round Totals: Over 2½ (-240), Under 2½ (+190)
- Weight Class (Rounds): Women’s Featherweight (145 lbs) (3 Rounds)
On paper, this is the unspectacular fare for this card as Macy Chiasson and Norma Dumont should grind it out to a snoozer of a decision. We’re not too ecstatic seeing Dumont (7-1-0) at her current price and +180 is just not long enough for us to consider Chiasson (7-2-0).
Dumont is a much better grappler and has the thick and stocky build to make life problematic for the long and lanky Chiasson. It’s “Dumont or pass” here though playing this to go over 2½ rounds could be the best UFC bet in this matchup.
Pick: Over 2½ (-240)
Royval vs Schnell
- Moneyline: Matt Schnell +190, Brandon Royval -240
- Round Totals: Over 2½ (+115), Under 2½ (-145)
- Weight Class (Rounds): Flyweight (125 lbs) (3 Rounds)
Brandon Royval and Matt Schnell could be the Fight of the Night in the prelims. These flyweights are active both on their feet and on their mat. More interestingly, three of Schnell’s (15-6-0) last four fights were finished and all but one of Royval’s (13-6-0) four UFC fights were as well.
Find a prop bet on this one to not go the distance, but for a better price, bet on the under 2½ rounds. Every finish on each fighter’s bouts happened in the first two rounds. We see this trend continuing.
