Five Performances to Bet Props for UFC 275

These Fighters Need Stellar Performances to Pay Off

UFC 275 is heavy on some lopsided matchups if we go by the UFC odds. However, several fighters are being underwritten and not only is their potential for upsets, but the props would make these lucrative. At least eight fights can contend for a performance bonus so we picked five that are worth a bet or two.

UFC Fight Night Props

Na Gets Asians Started

Of the trio of Chinese fighters on the card, Na Liang has the best shot at making waves. The 25-year-old is an underdog but the UFC matchmakers know what they’re doing by giving her Silvana Gomez Juarez as an opponent. Liang (19-5-0) has won her last two fights by arm-bar while Gomez Juarez (10-4-0) got arm-barred twice. Bet online on Liang to complete the hat trick at double your wager.

Pick: Na Liang By Submission +200

Matthews Stops Fialho Hype Train

Jake Matthews has let bettors down too many times. But he’s not only an underdog against Andre Fialho, but he should also stop the hyped slugger in his tracks. Matthews (17-5-0) has not finished anyone in four years, though he will out-grapple Fialho (16-4-0, 1 NC) and put him in a bad spot. This is the best UFC bets for this fight.

Pick: Jake Matthews To Win By KO, TKO, DQ or Submission +500

Della Maddalena Takes Out Emeev

One does not simply knock out a Dagestani fighter. But Jack Della Maddalena has the right opportunity to do so. Ramazan Emeev is an underdog for a reason: He isn’t that good. Della Maddalena (11-2-0) hits hard and should catch Emeev (20-5-0) when he tries to mix it up with him. Instead of betting Della Maddalena straight, take this prop that pays over 3-1.

Pick: Jack Della Maddalena By KO, TKO or DQ +315

Zhang Ends Rivalry With Jedrzejczyk

Winning by a decision is not nearly as impressive as finishing someone. But when Zhang Weili rematches Joanna Jedrzejczyk, she’ll beat her pillar-to-post and bury this rivalry for good. The pair combined to put on one of the greatest fights and this sequel is UFC 275’s most anticipated matchup.

Sadly, though, this one may fall short of expectations as Zhang (21-3-0) will mix up her wrestling and striking to outclass Jedrzejczyk (16-4-0). Zhang also hits harder and should put it on Jedrzejczyk for 15 minutes. A late finish is possible but a decision is more likely on the sportsbook.

Pick: Weili Zhang To Win By Decision or Tec. Decision +135

Prochazka Starches Teixeira Early

Like the betting odds have it, we expect Glover Teixeira and Jiri Prochazka to make their championship fight a short one. The question becomes who finishes who? Teixeira (33-7-0) could be a popular underdog to submit Prochazka (28-3-1), and at odds longer than 11-1, it’s a tempting prop to take.

Prochazka has a brutal cure for Teixeira’s wrestling: uppercuts and elbows. For Teixeira to take the Muay Thai specialist down, he’ll need to tie him up. This is where Prochazka will put him away. Bank on the Czech fighter to make short work of Teixeira and start his reign as champion of the 205-pound division.

Pick: Jiri Prochazka In Round 1 By KO, TKO or DQ +210
