Interim Champ, Grant Is Decided Favorite
Buckle up because we’re in for another back-and-forth brawl. Jarod Grant defends his interim bantamweight strap against repeat title challenger Reginald “Reggie” Barnett. The BKFC boxing odds have Grant squarely as the favorite though Barnett could finally break through as he looks to humble the surging youngster.
Grant Is BKFC’s Star
If you want to introduce someone to bare-knuckle boxing, show them clips of Grant. The 24-year-old is a homegrown talent with the Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship (BKFC) and has won all but one of his fights via a knockout.
That’s more impressive considering Grant fights at 135 pounds., which is a division that typically does not feature as many KOs as its heavier counterparts. But Grant doesn’t give a bleep. The madman will beat up his opponents like they stole something from him.
Grant is an “alpha dog” from the weigh-ins all the way to the cage. As such, betting online on Grant is not only fun but fruitful. He hasn’t looked vulnerable in the ring and will keep the interim bantamweight title warm as he looks to unify his belt against Johnny Bedford.
Will Barnett Finally Break Through?
Barnett is not one to be intimidated. He’s lost a few times under BKFC but two came against the champ, Bedford, and he was competitive in both of those bouts. At 36, Barnett’s window for winning a world title may be smaller than his younger counterpart. But never count the man out.
Sometimes the BKFC is all about weathering the storm and coming right back. This is why Barnett constantly finds himself in the title picture even with all his setbacks. We’ve seen it before in both boxing and MMA: the grizzled veteran finally wins when people count them out.
At underdog odds on the sportsbook, Barnett could be just the next “also-ran” to wear a title. He may already be looking to the trilogy against Bedford. First, he must find a way to halt the charging Grant.
Grant vs Barnett Head-to-Head
Grant and Barnett are both orthodox boxers. The interim champ is two inches taller than Barnett, who is built more like a flyweight than a bantamweight. Grant may be unbeaten in the BKFC, but Barnett has fought a higher level of competition even if he has lost a few of them.

Grant vs Barnett Prediction
From a picks perspective, we like Grant to beat Barnett via a decision. However, we’re not confident that the betting odds reflect it accurately. Grant’s line indicates a 63 percent chance of winning. That’s a tad too high as this one should be closer to a 50/50 proposition.
With that in mind, our money is on Barnett to eke out a decision here. The judges may look more favorably on Grant as he will be the aggressor here. However, how will he react when Barnett tags him? He’s used to mowing down opponents but he’s not tested when he’s put in a spot of vulnerability.
