Page and Storley Clash for Interim Gold
Storley Enters Enemy Territory as The Favorite
Late replacement? No problem. Logan Storley gets a shot at Bellator’s interim welterweight title as he replaces champion Yaroslav Amosov against Michael “Venom” Page (MVP). The Bellator MMA odds place Storley squarely as the favorite as he looks to dominate Page with his potent wrestling style. Page, will have to fend off his takedowns if he hopes to outstrike him.
Let’s check the latest news, stats, injury reports, and Bellator odds for Page vs Storley. We’ve plenty of predictions for you to consider.
Page’s Real Test
Michael “Venom” Page (MVP) is a prime example of an exciting prospect that never got going. He owns wins over Paul Daley and former champion Douglas Lima but it seems that all the hype has dissipated with the unique fighter. If Page can knock out Logan Storley, in his home country, we can consider Page as the next big Bellator star.
In Storley, Page fights the best wrestler in the division and possibly the whole promotion. He knocked out Shinsho Anzai but Storley is several levels above the Japanese fighter. Page’s wrestling defense is unproven and his lanky build may place him more susceptible to being taken down or even ragdolled.
At 35-years-old and with 21 professional fights, Page’s time should be now. He can remind MMA fans why he’s more than just a flash in the pan. But he will need to get past Storley even if the MMA betting odds are not in his favor.
Storley Is an Uncrowned Champion
Like Page used to be, Logan Storley is a blue-chip prospect grown (mostly) through Bellator. Like Page, Storley has lost just once in his career and this came via a narrow decision to the current champ: Yaroslav Amosov. Storley is now one win away from booking the rematch.
If there is no considerable hype on Storley, it is likely due to his fighting style. As a prolific wrestler, Storley rarely has heart-stopping finishes. His TKO victories have come via ground-and-pound (or injuries), but as he showed against Neiman Gracie, his striking is starting to come together.
In his heart, Storley knows he’s a wrestler. It may not be as fan-friendly, but he would be foolhardy to prove a point by trying to outstrike the Muay Thai specialist in MVP. Storley will be spamming takedowns for as long as he can win the fight.
Page vs Storley Head-to-Head
As with most of Michael Page’s fights, he will have a sizable reach advantage here: 7.5 inches to be exact. Page is also the taller fighter by six inches. Against another striker that may be an advantage, but for a wrestler like Logan Storley, this may work against MVP.

Page vs Storley Prediction
Michael Page is a dangerous opponent and MMA betting against him can be a scary endeavor, however, upon closer inspection, Page has not finished the best opponents he’s fought. He narrowly defeated Lima and beat Paul Daley on the scorecards. Heck, he almost lost to Fernando Gonzalez who went 7-2 in the promotion.
So while there is a chance that he dusts Logan Storley within the first three rounds, there is a better chance that Storley grinds him down with his relentless wrestling. Page’s long body will work against him as he struggles to keep from getting taken down. There is also a good chance he gets submitted or TKO’d if he’s reckless getting up. Either way, Storley should win the interim belt.
