Pereira Stars on UFC 270 Undercard
Main Card Is Mouthwatering
UFC 270 is the gift that keeps giving and we look at three of the main card fights where bettors can cash in.
Kicking off the main card is Rodolfo Viera vs Wellington Turman, followed by Cody Stamann vs Said Nurmagomedov, but the headline act is Michel Pereira vs Andre Fialho.

It should be an action-packed card and we have our UFC best bets available.
Michel Pereira vs Andre Fialho
It’s hard not to love Michel Pereira; he always gives it his all and he showed that when beating Niko Price at UFC 264.
The 28-year-old Brazilian scored a three-round decision victory over the tough welterweight, so it was a great win for his record.
He hasn’t lost since a disqualification against Diego Sanchez in 2020, so he’s riding a three-fight winning streak and we like his chances of extending it.
Andre Fialho makes his UFC debut after fighting in UAE Warriors, which isn’t quite up to the level of the UFC.
We credit Fialho for taking the fight on short notice and he’s confident of producing an upset.
“I’ve got to stay composed, relaxed, have my feet sharp, and sooner or later I’ll catch him, and I’ll put him out,” Fialho told CagesidePress.
“I think he’s going to waste energy like he always does. He likes to put on a show. I like to put on a show too in another way. If I stay calm, composed, patient, and focused, I believe I’ll put him out.”
Pereira is the more conditioned fighter and we think that will make a huge difference. He’s a classy fighter, and although bettors have to take short odds, he looks like a safe bet.
The sportsbook has Pereira at -300, so add him to your UFC 270 selections.
Pick: Michel Pereira -300
Cody Stamann vs Said Nurmagomedov
Fireworks are expected as the highly touted Said Nurmagomedov faces the always-tough Cody Stamann.
Nurmagomedov isn’t related to former UFC champion Khabib Nurmagomedov, but he applies many of the same principles in his fighting technique.
The Russian is 14-2 following a first-round knockout of Mark Striegl, which lasted only 51 seconds. It was an impressive fight, which is why many of his bantamweight rivals don’t want to face him.
Stamann stepped up to the plate with a point to prove after losing to Merab Dvalishvili last May. It was his second consecutive loss, so he needs to rediscover his best form to beat the favorite.
UFC betting odds have Nurmagomedov at -200, which is a better line than expected. We would have been prepared to take a lot shorter for the explosive fighter.
Pick: Said Nurmagomedov -200
Rodolfo Vieira vs Wellington Turman
Rodolfo Vieria showed his submission game when beating Dustin Stoltzfus in July, so he’ll be looking to sink a choke against Wellington Turman.
The 32-year-old bounced back from his first career loss to Anthony Hernandez, so he showed good heart and that will take him far.
Turman is 17-5 and having his third UFC fight. The 25-year-old has been busy throughout his career and he looked good when beating experienced middleweight Sam Alvey in August.
It was a professional outing and he has a bright future, so the +175 with betting online markets could be worth taking in what should be a close fight.
There is no doubting the talent of Vieira, but he could be outworked by the younger fighter.
