Tsarukyan Is a Future UFC Champion

We don’t say this lightly: Arman Tsarukyan is a future UFC champion. Even in the toughest division that is lightweight, Tsarukyan has stood out as he has been able to dominate his opponents. He gave Islam Makhachev the hardest fight in his UFC debut fight. And Tsarukyan kind of speaks like Khabib Nurmagomedov himself.

The Armenian has a wrestling background, which he has used to dominate the likes of Matt Frevola. But for the most part, he has fought opponents where they are best. He took down Joel Alvarez, a jiu-jitsu fighter, and ground-and-pounded him. Prior to that, he knocked out striker Christos Giagos and outwrestled Olivier Aubin-Mercier, another grappler.

However, Tsarukyan has yet to beat a top-10 opponent and Gamrot is his toughest test since Makchachev. Tsarkuyan has not let bettors down since, and he looks to go 5-0 as a favorite on the sportsbook.

Gamrot Ready for Toughest Bout

Gamrot “the Gamer” is ready to get in the Octagon and scrap regardless of who it is against. This has usually worked to his advantage as he is a fast starter and makes short work of opponents. He beat Ferreira to submission, tapped Jeremy Stephens in 65 seconds, and beat former UFC fighter, Norman Parke, in a trilogy.

But as entertaining as Gamrot is, he has enough holes in his game that an experienced veteran like Tsarukyan can exploit. For one, Gamrot is hittable and has a short reach. Guram Kutateladze was able to hit him enough despite getting taken down multiple times.

Gamrot will also enter this bout as an underdog for the first time in his UFC career. In fact, he’s been a favorite for his last 10+ fights going back to the KSW. If these odds prove accurate, bet online against Gamrot as he is taking a big step up in competition.

Tsarukyan vs Gamrot Head-to-Head

Tsarukyan will be three inches shorter but will also have a two-inch reach advantage. This could favor him as he has a lower center of gravity and can outstrike Gamrot more effectively. Both fighters lost their UFC debuts have been undefeated since.

Tsarukyan vs Gamrot Prediction

We won’t fault anyone for taking the dog shot on Gamrot at over 2-1 here. It could be the best UFC bet if he manages to pull it off. Unfortunately, Tsarukyan is just the better fighter. Even if Gamrot has appeared to have more finishing ability and more “high-level” experience, Tsarukyan proved against Makhachev that he is a true contender.

Tsarukyan should be able to keep this fight standing and outstrike Gamrot, who is wilder but also less efficient. This should work to Tsarukyan’s favor as he is more precise and has better defense, absorbing just 1.36 significant strikes per minute. In what should be a fun scrap, back Tsarukyan to outlast Gamrot.
