One Grizzled Underdog Joins Chalky Prospects In Win Column
UFC 276 Preliminary Picks
With the 10th anniversary of International Fight Week, aka UFC X, it makes sense for the UFC to present one of its best events. UFC 276 presents quality and competitive matchups going by the UFC betting lines. Most of these feature up-and-comers at favored odds, though one old dog could be the show-stealer.
Let’s check the latest news, stats, and injury reports for UFC 276 Prelims. We’ve plenty of UFC predictions for you to consider UFC fight card.
-
Riddell (+120) vs Turner (-150)
- Round Totals: Over 2½ (+120), Under 2½ (-150)
- Weight Class (Rounds): Lightweight (155 lbs) (3 Rounds)
Brad Riddell and Jalin Turner are both bangers. Riddell (10-2-0) is a teammate of UFC champion Israel Adesanya and can be counted on to put up great fights. But he’s just much smaller than Turner (12-5-0), who is on a four-fight winning streak, all via a finish. Turner hits hard and will finish Riddell, who is just coming back from a brutal KO loss.
Pick: Jalin Turner -150

Garry (-180) vs Green (+150)
- Round Totals: Over 2½ (-140), Under 2½ (+110)
- Weight Class (Rounds): Welterweight (170 lbs) (3 Rounds)
Ian Garry, the 24-year-old Irishman, could be the next big thing in the country, but he must utilize his whole skill set to beat the dangerous Gabriel Green. Garry (9-0-0) is bigger and better-rounded, but Green (11-3-0) is an animal and gets stronger as the fight goes on. Still, Garry should be able to win a decision even if folks betting online have to sweat it out.
Pick: Ian Garry -180
-
Miller (-210) vs Cerrone (+165)
- Round Totals: Over 1½ (-145), Under 1½ (+115)
-
- Weight Class (Rounds): Welterweight (170 lbs) (3 Rounds)
The “Cowboy” will ride again. In several of our past breakdowns, we faded Donald Cerrone hard. But this is at 170 pounds against a natural lightweight in Jim Miller. Cerrone (36-16-0) will not need to cut too much weight and is fighting an equally old fighter in Miller (34-16-0), who he already knocked out. As the dog, Cerrone is the best UFC bet.
Pick: Donald Cerrone +165
-
Hall (+220) vs Muniz (-300)
- Round Totals: Over 1½ (+125), Under 1½ (-155)
-
- Weight Class (Rounds): Middleweight (185 lbs) (3 Rounds)
This is a “striker versus grappler” matchup on steroids. Uriah Hall has a flashy striking style but not much else, while Andre Muniz has literally snapped arms with his jiu-jitsu. Muniz (22-4-0) should be able to get a hold of Hall (17-10-0) at some point to tap him. But that price is a bit too wide and we like for this one to go a bit longer as Hall is strong and tough to submit.
Pick: Over 1½ (+125)
-
Eye (+210) vs Barber (-270)
- Round Totals: Over 2½ (-300), Under 2½ (+220)
-
- Weight Class (Rounds): Women’s Flyweight (125 lbs) (3 Rounds)
After a two-fight skid, Maycee “The Future” Barber is back on a roll. Taking on Jessica Eye, who has one win in her last five, is the kind of fight that gets her back in title contention. Barber (10-2-0) is faster and has more skills than Eye (15-10-0), who is too predictable as a boxer. The 24-year-old scores an easy win here.
Pick: Maycee Barber -270
-
Tavares (+110) vs Du Plessis (-140)
- Round Totals: Over 2½ (-125), Under 2½ (-105)
- Weight Class (Rounds): Middleweight (185 lbs) (3 Rounds)
We love the sportsbook’s line on Dricus Du Plessis here. The South African does not have the striking acumen of Brad Tavares, nor has he fought the level of competition the Hawaiian has. But Du Plessis (16-2-0) hits harder than Tavares (19-6-0), who isn’t great anywhere else to neutralize this power gap. It could be a close fight but Du Plessis gets it done.
Pick: Dricus Du Plessis -140

Clark (-175) vs Stoliarenko (+145)
- Round Totals: Over 2½ (-240), Under 2½ (+190)
- Weight Class (Rounds): Women’s Bantamweight (135 lbs) (3 Rounds)
The UFC clearly wants Jessica-Rose Clark to stick around as they’re giving her Julija Stoliarenko, who has not won a UFC Fight Night. Clark (11-7-0) isn’t fighting for a title anytime soon, but she has the grappling to give Stoliarenko (9-6-1) fits. Bank on Clark to beat Stoliarenko here.
