UFC 290 Parlay to Cash in this Weekend
Volkanovski Anchors Three-Bout Wager
Saturday’s UFC Fight Card is headlined by the featherweight title fight between Alexander Volkanovski vs Yair Rodriguez.
It’s a stacked card for the pay-per-view event, which also features the flyweight title fight between Brandon Moreno and Alexandre Pantoja.
We feature three of the best fights in our parlay, and the odds at the sportsbook are generous.
1. Aussie Aussie Aussie
UFC betting odds have Volkanovski at -370 to retain his belt and we can’t see him handing it over to Rodriguez.
The Australian superstar is 25-2 following a loss to Islam Makhachev for the lightweight title. However, coming back to featherweight strengthens his chances of winning.
His most recent featherweight fight came against Max Holloway at UFC 276, and although Rodriguez commands respect as the interim champion following his win over Josh Emmett, the level of opposition Volkanovski has faced is much higher.
“It feels good to be at featherweight again and being as sharp as ever,” Volkanovski said. “Definitely, that bulk made me stronger. Rising to that challenge, to that occasion, put my skills on a whole other level.”
The -370 line is a short price with sport betting markets, but that’s why including him in parlays is beneficial.

2. Whittaker has Class Edge
There hasn’t been much support with UFC odds for Dricus du Plessis, mostly because he’s facing one of the toughest fighters on the UFC roster.
Robert Whittaker is hoping to give the Australasian fighters another win on Saturday in Las Vegas, where he looks to improve his record to 26-6.
He might have been easily handled by Israel Adesanya, but du Plessis hasn’t faced anyone close to the “Last Stylebender,” so class is with Whittaker.
The middleweight comes off a win against Marvin Vettori, and although Vettori isn’t at the top of his game, it was a one-sided decision win.
Even du Plessis expected Whittaker to be favored with online gambling markets, and the -380 available could shorten with live betting markets throughout the fight.
“I didn’t even know I was the favorite every time (before this),” Du Plessis said. “With a guy like Whittaker, I’m not surprised that I’m the underdog.”
The -380 is worth including in parlays to boost the payout.
- Pick: Robert Whittaker (-380)
3. Nickal in Round 1
There is little value betting on Bo Nickal to win outright at skinny odds, so pick him to win in the first round.
The unbeaten wrestling superstar likes to make quick work of his opponents and Val Woodburn could be next up.
Woodburn is 7-0, but he has yet to face someone with the tools of Nickal. If the fight goes to the ground, it’s all over.
Nickal showed his ability when submitting Jamie Pickett in the opening round of his UFC debut, after impressing on Dana White’s Contender Series.
Bettors get -330 for Nickal to win in Round 1, which shouldn’t be overlooked.
