UFC Atlanta Prop Picks for This Weekend: Namajunas Among Top Bets, June 14th

Another week of octagon violence awaits, but those Fight Night festivities aren’t the same without some proposition bets and UFC lines to boost the bankroll.
Fortunately, as the resident BetUS UFC, I’ll share my best picks and predictions on this weekend’s UFC Atlanta fight card, headlined by welterweight brutes Kamaru Usman and Joaquin Buckley.
Let’s beat the bookie!!!

Top 2 UFC Atlanta Prop Picks
1. Rose Namajunas vs. Miranda Maverick: Namajunas by Decision (-165)
The only woman to defeat Weili Zhang, the current reigning women’s flyweight champion, is Rose Namajunas. The first woman to defeat the legendary Joanna Jedrzejczyk is also Rose Namajunas. One of the only remaining women competing on the roster since women’s divisions were introduced, Rose Namajunas, is still competing at 32 years old.
Now, just because of a few losses (Manon Fiorot & Erin Blanchfield) to some of the best contenders at flyweight, we’re seeing a lot of doubt creep into the minds of critics?
No offense, but Miranda Maverick is a step down in competition for Rose, in my opinion. The 27-year-old has been on a tear lately with four straight wins, but the level of opposition just isn’t noteworthy to get excited about.

Bet on Namajunas by Decision (-165)
I Respect the Line
I’ve noticed that Maverick is the square underdog UFC picks play of the week across socials, but don’t fall for it. Just ask yourself this: What will Maverick do when the takedowns don’t surface? Blanchfield is the exception, but for the most part, Rose’s ability in the clinch and her get-up game is top notch… Let’s not forget when she out-grappled the grappler, Tracy Cortez, last year, and reminded everyone that she’s more than a kickboxer.
‘Thug Rose’ deserves bigger fights, and by running through a rising contender, she’ll get them. Once the takedowns are stuffed, it’s over for Maverick, and although I respect the moneyline price, we can boost our odds with the decision prop as I do expect Rose to stay at range and focus on points over stoppages.
Maverick, as a former training partner, credits her striking game to Rose, for crying out loud! Thug for the dub!
Miranda Maverick credits her improved striking to years of training with Rose Namajunas, and now she gets a chance to use it against Thug Rose at UFC Atlanta.

2. Malcolm Wellmaker vs. Kris Moutinho: Under 1.5 Rounds (-200)
Two UFC fights and two knockout losses, including a memorable battle with Sean O’Malley, saw Kris Moutinho’s UFC tenure come to an abrupt end in 2022. He’s since returned to the regional scene and collected five consecutive wins… so, will his octagon return show a new and improved version of himself?
Probably not…
With all due respect, there are levels to this, and unfortunately for Moutinho, they are handing him one of the most challenging return fights in Malcolm Wellmaker. There’s a reason why we’re looking at the biggest moneyline price in 2025, and that’s because Moutinho, although tough, isn’t going to match the speed and sniper-like offensive striking of Wellmaker.
Malcolm Wellmaker lands a huge KO with a PERFECT shot on Cameron Saaiman. Welcome to the UFC! 🔥#UFCKansasCity

Bet on the fight to go Under 1.5 Rounds (-200)
We Don’t Have to Sip the Juice
I know what you’re thinking: ‘But Dave, -2000 on the Wellmaker moneyline is insane.’ And, yes, I agree. Nobody, especially a 9-0 prospect, should have such confidence in the realm of probability, but dominance is expected, and there’s more than one way to skin a rabbit.
The under 1.5 rounds are priced at -200. Moutinho may have survived until the third and final with O’Malley. Still, Wellmaker’s style does present more aggression, and let’s not forget the round one Guido Cannetti (Who also has been cut) knockout that sent Moutinho packing from the UFC roster.
If you’re still not convinced, know that of Moutinho’s six career losses, four of those bouts ended in under 1.5 rounds, and if Cannetti can inside two minutes, Wellmaker can do even quicker for our UFC predictions tonight!
Don’t be surprised if Wellmaker gives Moutinho the phone number for the welding company he worked for after this one!
Wellmaker vs. Moutinho Betting Trends:
- Wellmaker has finished 7 of his 9 fights inside the distance
- All 6 of Moutinho’s pro-MMA losses came by KO/TKO or submission
- Moutinho has lost under 1.5 rounds in 4 of 6 defeats
🫡 Malcolm Wellmaker quit his welding job after getting $50k bonus after a knockout win over Cameron Saaiman.
