Best UFC & Boxing Matches to Parlay
Njokuani (-130) vs Rodrigues (Ev)
- Round Totals: Over 1½ (-135), Under 1½ (+105)
- Weight Class (Rounds): Middleweight, 185 lbs. (3 Rounds)
- Day/Time: Saturday, Sept. 17th, 6 p.m. ET

Chidi Njokuani (22-7-0) and Gregory Rodrigues (12-4-0) are two of the UFC’s heaviest hitters. So it’s all but guaranteed that their fight will end with someone getting slept. Our money is on Njokuani to flatten Rodrigues thanks to his speed and reach advantage (four inches). You can even make extra cheddar with a prop bet on him to knock him out as your best UFC bet.
Pick: Chidi Njokuani (-130)
Sandhagen (-180) vs Yadong (+150)
- Round Totals: Over 1½ (-135), Under 1½ (+105)
- Weight Class (Rounds): Bantamweight, 135 lbs. (3 Rounds)
- Day/Time: Saturday, Sept. 17th, 6 p.m. ET

The UFC’s main event pits the 135-pound division’s rising stars, Cory Sandhagen (14-4-0) and Song Yadong (19-6-1, 1 NC). A title shot is on the line here and one Sandhagen should grasp with a clinical performance against the heavy-handed Chinese pugilist.

There is a slight chance that Song hurts Sandhagen early in the fight. But Sandhagen, like Njokuani, has a length advantage. He also moves more fluidly than the flat-footed Song. Most importantly, he has fought much better competition. In a five-round fight, Sandhagen is a pro while Song is a newbie. Sandhagen gets it done.
Pick: Cory Sandhagen (-180)
Makhmudov (-2000) vs Takam (+850)
- Round Totals: Over 4½ (+110), Under 4½ (-140)
-
- Weight Class (Rounds): Heavyweight, 200 lbs. (10 Rounds)
- Day/Time: Friday, Sept. 16th, 8 p.m. ET
- Stream: Box Live
Arslanbek Makhmudov (14-0-0, 14 KOs) is already drawing comparisons to Mike Tyson for his vicious fighting style. He hits so hard that his jabs crumple his opponents. Carlos Takam (39-6-1, 28 KOs) is a big step up in competition but one Makhmudov should handle. However, the boxing betting odds are skewed toward this going under. Takam is no joke and will put up a fight that should go well into the sixth.
Pick: Over 4½ (+110)
Rodriguez (-2000) vs Gonzalez (+850)
- Round Totals: Over 8½ (-120), Under 8½ (-110)
-
- Weight Class (Rounds): Super Flyweight, 115 lbs. (12 Rounds)
- Day/Time: Saturday, Sept. 17th, 10 p.m. ET
- Stream: Box Live
Jesse “Bam” Rodriguez (16-0-0, 11 KOs) is becoming boxing’s next big thing. Even at 115 pounds, he packs plenty of power and goes for the kill. Rodriguez should tool his overmatched opponent, Israel Gonzalez (28-4-1, 11 KOs), hence the lopsided betting odds. But Gonzalez is tough like a cockroach and went the distance against Roman “Chocolatito” Gonzalez. Bam dominates but Gonzalez will hang around.
Pick: Over 8½ (Ev)
Alvarez (-600) vs Golovkin (+400)
- Round Totals: Over 10½ (-220), Under 10½ (+180)
-
- Weight Class (Rounds): Super Middleweight, 168 lbs. (12 Rounds)
- Day/Time: Saturday, Sept. 17th, 10 p.m. ET
- Stream: Box Live
Canelo Alvarez (57-2-2, 39 KOs) and Gennadiy Golovkin (42-1-1, 37 KOs) have combined to make this generation’s classic rivalry. But it’s a travesty that Golovkin does not even own a win, which he looks to rectify in what could be his final meeting with the Mexican icon. The odds strongly favor Canelo as he should put a stamp on this saga.
We like Golovkin given his long odds. But the line we like is on this fight to go over 10½ rounds. It’s getting juiced at its current price but, as a parlay piece, it’s worth it. Both Canelo and GGG are made of granite. Whether this is a firefight or a chess match, this goes to the championship rounds.
Pick: Over 10½ (-220)
Parlay: Makhmudov-Takam Over 4½, Chidi Njokuani, Cory Sandhagen, and Alvarez-Golovin Over 10½ (+1412)
