UFC Fight Night Parlay: Andrade Headlines

Three Bouts Offer Value Bet

Free-to-air UFC action returns on Saturday and three fights are included in our UFC Fight Night parlay.

Headlining the card is the main event between Jessica Andrade vs Erin Blanchfield, which we’re hoping ends the UFC betting parlay in style.

Featuring in the wager is Jim Miller vs Alexander Hernandez and Ovince Saint Preux vs Philipe Lins.

Let’s check the latest UFC news, stats, and UFC lines. We’ve got plenty of UFC picks for you to consider.

Andrade Demands Respect

She might be the much smaller fighter, but Andrade has the class edge by some margin against Blanchfield.

The former strawweight champion is 24-9 after beating Lauren Murphy at UFC 283 and she continued her form following wins over Cynthia Calvillo and Amanda Lemos.

We’re surprised by the sportsbook odds of -135. We thought she would be around the -180 mark against Blanchfield, who is 10-1 but has yet to face the level of opposition she meets on Saturday.

The 23-year-old Blanchfield is a rising star of the sport and her wrestling makes her tough to handle. She scored submission wins over Molly McCann and JJ Aldrich in 2022.

Andrade took this fight on short notice, but she’s a former champion for a reason. She was devastating against Murphy and the fight should have been stopped on multiple occasions.

“I wanted to get a knockout or a submission but I think I was able to show my technique”, Andrade said. “There’s certain points where I thought it was going to be stopped.

“Dana [White], who else do I need to get my title shot? I went to China to fight Zhang Weili. Now she needs to come here and go through a rough time, too, to fight me here”.

Beating Blanchfield would get her the title shot and we think the -135 is worth including in parlays.

    • Pick: Jessica Andrade (-135).

Hernandez to Retire Miller?

Miller continues to fight at the age of 39, and although he’s a legend of the sport, a loss to Hernandez could end it.

Hernandez is the younger and more appealing fighter. He’s 13-6 following consecutive losses, but the UFC is giving him a much easier fight against Miller, who is there to be beaten.

We’re not discrediting Miller’s recent success against Erick Gonzalez, Nikolas Motto and Donald Cerrone. However, he’s facing a lightweight fighter and that could have a big impact.

UFC odds have Miller as the underdog at +180. We think that’s a fair price providing Hernandez gets back to his best form, which saw him knock out Mike Breeden in the first round in 2021.

We’re happy to include the -220 odds for Hernandez as the middle leg of our parlay.

      • Pick: Alexander Hernandez (-220).

Keeping the Faith with Saint Preux

Saint Preux is 26-16, and although having 16 losses on your record isn’t good, he is worth a wager at the price.

The 39-year-old has had a long career in the UFC, including wins over the likes of Alonzo Menifield and Corey Anderson, and he went a full five rounds against Jon Jones at UFC 197.

He might not be getting any younger or any better, but neither is Lins, who is 15-5 following a decision win against Marcin Prachnio.

Lins has had a raft of canceled fights, which kept him out of action throughout 2021. Prior to that, he was knocked out by Tanner Boser and beaten by a decision against Andrei Arlovski.

We don’t think he warrants being a -210 favorite, so we’re happy to include Saint Preux in our UFC parlay at the much better price of +165.

      • Pick: Ovince Saint Preux (+165).
