UFC Fight Night Parlays, July 16

Main Event Among Four Bouts to Offer Betting Value

UFC action continues in New York this Saturday and the main event between Brian Ortega vs Yair Rodriguez is set to excite fans.

We have handpicked the best fights from UFC Fight Night and bookmakers are offering terrific value in UFC betting markets,

Let’s check the latest stats, injury reports, and UFC odds for Fight Night Parlays.

Brian Ortega vs Yair Rodriguez

We think Ortega is the best bet in the main event and he will have a raucous crowd behind him.

The 15-2 fighter always has good support when fighting in New York, and despite losing his most recent fight, it came against featherweight champion Alexander Volkanovski, so we’re prepared to forgive that effort.

His losses always come against the very best, but the same can be said for Rodriguez, who lost to Max Holloway at UFC Fight Night in November.

The 29-year-old Rodriguez looked good when scoring a knockout win over The Korean Zombie in 2018, so if he can bring that energy, Ortega could be in trouble. However, we’re going with the sportsbook favorite.

Ortega has more power in his hands and he finds ways to win, so lock in the -175 as the UFC parlay anchor.

Pick: Brian Ortega -175

Shane Burgos vs Charles Jourdain

There should be fireworks between Shane Burgos and Charles Jourdain, but we’re locking at the favorite to boost parlay payouts.

Burgos has the crowd behind him and he’s one of the more explosive fighters when he’s on his game. The 31-year-old scored a decision win over Billy Quarantillo at UFC 268 and that was a good experience for the New York native.

It was a vital bounce-back effort after getting knocked out by Edson Barboza, and he could make another run for a featherweight title shot if he keeps winning.

Jourdain is the younger fighter and he won by submission in April, but his inconsistent performances makes him tough to bet as the underdog.

UFC odds have Jourdain at +150, which is a good price on a normal day. However, Burgos should be buoyed by the home fans and he should feature in your UFC parlay.

Pick: Shane Burgos -180

Ricky Simon vs Jack Shore

Jack Shore brings his impressive 16-0 unbeaten run to UFC Fight Night and we thought he would be shorter in betting online markets.

We thought the 27-year-old UK-based fighter would be around -200 to beat Ricky Simon, who is a quality fighter, but Shore has looked impressive.

“It’s all coming together slowly,” Shore told UFC.com. “The opposition is getting better. My last fight, I think I showed a lot of people what I can do normally on the feet, but when I got deep a little bit and things weren’t always going my way, I showed I can make decisions and turn the fight around and sway the fight in my favor. I put myself in a spot where I’m ranked, and in position to fight a tough, ranked guy. The wheels are all turning, and hopefully, we can keep the momentum going and keep the hype train going.”

Shore defeated the talented Timur Valiev in March and that win put him on the world stage. Therefore, despite Simon coming off a knockout win over Raphael Assuncao, he could struggle to touch up Shore.

We’re expecting Simon vs Shore to be one of the more exciting fights on the card, but take Shore to extend his unbeaten streak to 17.

Pick: Jack Shore -155

Dustin Jacoby vs Jung Da Un

Despite giving away some size, we’re confident Dustin Jacoby can pull off the upset on Saturday.

The 17-5-1 fighter is riding a four-win streak following a win at UFC 272 and he has enough experience to beat Jung Da Un, who is also riding a winning streak since entering the UFC.

Jung is the current -125 favorite and we’re not surprised by the quote, but Jacoby is a talented fighter with power on his side.

We’re prepared to include him in our parlay to boost payouts, so take the American to get things rolling early on the Fight Night card.
