UFC Parlay Picks: Muhammadjon Naimov Among Best Bets for Saudi Arabia on Feb 1

Riyadh Season is off to a great start regarding its partnership with MMA because this weekend, the Saudi hosts will assist the UFC in delivering a talent-stacked fight night card that’s oozing with up-and-coming fighters hoping to put their stamp on 2025 early.

One man who isn’t an up-and-coming talent, however, is the former two-time champion Israel Adesanya, scheduled to compete in his first non-title main event fight since 2019! It’s unfamiliar territory for both fans and Adesanya, but can ‘The Last Stylebender’ shine versus a hungry, rising talent in Nassourdine Imavov?

But that’s not why you are here…

Aside from the headline bout, we have a plethora of fights to dive into, and nothing quite compares to building a solid parlay ahead of the octagon festivities in order to boost our bankroll. On that note, join me as I scour the UFC odds to manufacture a winning parlay for UFC Saudi Arabia.

UFC Saudi Arabia Betting Preview and Parlay Picks

  • Muhammadjon Naimov vs Kaan Ofli: A Clear Favorite

Aggression, physical prowess, and knockout power. Yes, give me a piece of Muhammadjon Naimov this weekend.

Naimov, 3-1 in the UFC, with wins over Nathaniel Wood and Jamie Mullarkey, has not only fought a higher level of competition compared to his weekend foe, Kaan Ofli but he’s also live to reinstate his knockout run when opposite a fighter that’s returning from a knockout defeat.

In three of his last five fights, MMA betting fans saw Naimov win by KO/TKO. He’s had some questionable moments, with plenty of eye pokes and dirty moves, but ultimately, he’s an aggressive grinder who will punish whoever stands in front of him any way he can, and that’s money I can get behind.

Bet This Pick: Muhammadjon Naimov Moneyline [-340]

Sipping the Juice

Ofli has ok striking, ok grappling, ok cardio, and ok athleticism. He’s just okay all around, and that doesn’t cut it for me, especially when your okay moments have mostly stemmed from the regional scene. He got blasted in his UFC debut last August, and he’s a significant underdog for a reason this weekend in Saudi. That’s because he isn’t proven at this level, while his opponent has already notched three wins over some respectable talent in the big leagues. So, why should the oddsmakers respect him? They shouldn’t, and this price is just.

The BetUS Sportsbook gives a glimpse into this fight’s result. Naimov, who’ll undoubtedly be the aggressor, is arguably receiving the easiest opponent of his UFC tenure to date, and there isn’t much supporting evidence that Ofli can cause him harm.

Naimov Moneyline Supporting Betting Trends:

  • Naimov is 3-1 as a UFC fighter
  • Ofli is 0-1 as a UFC fighter
  • Ofli was knocked out in his UFC debut.

  • Shara Magomedov vs Michael Page: One More for the Russians in Saudi

Is there a more awkward stand-up style than Michael ‘Venom’ Page? I’ll wait…

The British kickboxing standout has had a glorious and successful career with a 22-3 record, mostly due to his unorthodox striking approach that most of his past opponents couldn’t read. However, this isn’t Bellator anymore. My fellow Brit, who is aged 37, has a ceiling that is starting to lower as he’s matched with the world’s best under the UFC banner and not Bellator cans.

On paper, Page is impressive, but we should be booking some legend-versus-legend matches instead of feeding him to hungry prospects because those highlight reels versus no-name fighters just aren’t transitioning to the big leagues. Unfortunately for him, that’s precisely what the UFC has done this weekend, and much like how we saw in Page’s loss to Ian Garry, I don’t see it going well for the older fighter who’s likely accepted that he will not be a title challenger or holder like he was in Bellator.

Shara ‘Bullet’ Magomedov, however, well, that’s a different story. The 30-year-old Russian is 15-0 and has won four straight bouts for the UFC. He’s gunning for gold, and as a devout Muslim, it’s hard not to see UFC Saudi Arabia as a platform where Shara Bullet can boost his popularity.

Bet This Pick: Shara Magomedov Moneyline [-180]

One Bullet, Bang

It only takes one bullet and bang; you’re dead. Sorry, Venom, but the snake will be metaphorically shot this weekend because all the chips are stacked to one side. It’s basically a home match for Shara, and without a clear knockout from Page, convincing those judges will be an uphill battle.

Page will likely bounce around and land pitter-patter punches for three rounds while the Russian looks to take heads off and lands the more damaging strikes. In the eyes of the judges, those harder, more convincing strikes will be more than enough to blindly award the fight to Shara whether he’s winning or not, and with that, the Bullet’s unbeaten streak continues.

The UFC betting odds are fair, with Shara Magomed sitting at a respectable -185. Better yet, this price is a nice boost to our parlay, which now sits at +100.

Magomedov Moneyline Supporting Betting Trends:

Here are some UFC betting trends to consider before placing a wager on this fight.

  • Shara Magomedov is undefeated as a professional
  • Venom Page is 1-1 in the UFC

UFC Saudi Arabia 2-Leg Parlay [+100]

  • Naimov Moneyline [-340]
  • Magomedov Moneyline [-180]
