UFC Saudi Arabia Top 2 Prop Picks
1. Said Nurmagomedov vs Vinicius Oliveira: No Relation to Khabib
We’re going straight back to the well with fighters competing in Saudi Arabia whose surnames end with ‘ov.’ It’s a foolproof method, and that’s all the analysis we need to do.
Jokes aside, Said Nurmagomedov – no relation to Khabib or Umar, BTW – is a Russian savage despite failing to keep an unblemished record like many of his Eastern European peers. He returns this weekend from a two-year layoff, and although a Brazilian up-and-comer riding a winning streak awaits, it’s difficult to fade the experience and well-crafted skill set of Nurmagomedov in this spot.
Vinicius Oliveira has looked great during his UFC tenure thus far. He shocked the world with a flying knee knockout in his promotional debut to cash as a +200 underdog UFC bet against Ricky Simon last time out. The difference on Saturday is that he’s fighting a professional of 15 years who’s never been knocked out, knocked down, or submitted and holds a 7-2 UFC record, which is marked with an asterisk against those pair of losses where he outstruck and out-grappled both opponents despite the judge’s questionable decision-making.
Bet This Prop: Nurmagomedov by Submission or Decision (-115)

Bet the ‘Ov’ Every Time
Of course, the biggest reason behind betting on Nurmagomedov is due to the ‘ov.’ Still, there’s a lot of supporting evidence that he can school the UFC newcomer this weekend, including the fact that he could easily hold an unbeaten record if it weren’t for incompetent judges.
More to the point, Nurmagomedov has a clean striking game, respected grappling, and a nasty guillotine that should keep Oliveira’s takedown attempts at bay. Yes, the Brazilian has power, but he doesn’t have the greater technique, and without a knockout, he will lose a numbers battle.
After a glimpse at the MMA betting odds, -115 on Nurmagomedov to win by submission or decision feels like the most credible prop value. Oliveira has proven to have a trustworthy chin lately (See Sopaj fight). The favorite’s path to victoriy is unquestionably through the judges by out-pointing his foe or catching him one of those nasty aforementioned guillys!
He finished him in under a minute! 🤯

2. Sergei Pavlovich vs Jairzinho Rozenstruik: The Dog Will Bark
Sergei Pavolich’s fall-off has been real. This Russian savage went from a potential heavyweight title contender behind six consecutive first-round knockouts to having his home Simpson slugging style exposed by Tom Aspinall and Alexander Volkov. Now, there’s no shame in those losses, but ahead of Saudi Arabia, oddsmakers have still priced him as a serious threat despite the kickboxing prowess that Jairzinho Rozenstruik brings to the cage.
Rozenstruik, in 14 UFC heavyweight bouts, has only been clipped on the chin and paid for it twice! More to the point, one of those knockout losses was against the monster, Francis N’Gannou. The Suriname native has a kickboxing background and unruly power of his own, so to believe Pavlovich will rush the pocket like usual and find the knockout without paying the price, as the odds suggest, is an untrustworthy spot to be in, if you ask me.
Bet This Prop: Rozenstruik by KO or Decision (+260)

One Round of Bust
We have two heavy-handed strikers going toe-to-toe, but the favorite has relied on round one to secure the majority of his career success. Rozenstruik, the dog in this spot, is a proven five-round fighter whose cardio will allow him to find the knockout at any moment during the fight.
I see this fight as being Pavlovich in round one, or he’s doomed. Watching him beyond the first versus Volkov was an eye-opener, and with Rozenstruik’s clean counter-striking ability, he should have enough to survive those initial five minutes and drag this beast into deep waters.
BetUS Sportsbook’s odds for a Rozenstruik win by KO/TKO or decision sit at +260. Sure, there’s a potential of that getting crushed in round one, but as we have a credible striker defending it, I’m more than willing to take a shot on the dog versus a round-one or bust fighter.
Pavlovich vs Rozenstruik Betting Trends
Here are some UFC betting trends to consider before placing your wager:
- Pavlovich hasn’t won a fight by decision since 2017
- All of Pavlovich’s UFC wins were by round one knockouts
- Rozenstruik has 14 UFC heavyweight bouts with only 2 KO losses
- Rozenstruik has won 3 of his previous 4 UFC bouts
- Pavlovich has lost two consecutive fights
