Defending Champions Look To Remain Undefeated
Rookie Boston Leads Improved Fever
When the season began, the Aces were WNBA title favorites with Indiana picked to finish last. Las Vegas has looked like the best team in the league, the Fever look to defy the WNBA predictions by securing a playoff spot.
The game will feature five former No. 1 overall picks with Indiana rookie Aliyah Boston facing an Aces team including A’ja Wilson, Kelsey Plum, Jackie Young and Candace Parker.
Las Vegas is 3-0 on the road after a narrow escape over Atlanta on Friday. Indiana has lost its only other home game so far this season.
When looking at the WNBA news, the Aces have won the last five games against the Fever by an average of 19.2 points per game.
Check the injury report before making any WNBA picks. Las Vegas continues to play without veteran guard Riquna Williams. Indiana had all 12 players available in its last game even though Victaria Saxton did not get into the game against Connecticut.

Gray Delivers for Aces
The Las Vegas Aces found themselves in a rare competitive game as Atlanta made a spirited fourth-quarter comeback.
When the Dream pulled within three points after a Rhyne Howard basket with 1:26 left, Aces guard Chelsea Gray hit a basket. A three-point play by Howard made it a two-point game and just 14 seconds later, Gray scored again as the Aces held on for the five-point win.
Gray scored six of her eight points in the fourth quarter as the Aces remained undefeated.
Gray is second only to Seattle’s Jewell Loyd with an average of 6.5 points in the fourth quarter of games this season. Reserve post player Kiah Stokes added a key blocked shot late in the game.

Las Vegas has covered against the WNBA betting lines in four of its last six games and is 10-5 against the spread in the last 15 road games.
Fever Finishing Strong
Indiana recently ended its 20-game losing streak thanks to a strong fourth quarter effort in a win over Atlanta. The Fever nearly made it back-to-back wins.
Boston had eight points and NaLyssaSmith added six points as Indiana cut a nine-point Connecticut lead to pull within one point with 13 seconds left to play in a three-point loss to Connecticut.
In the last two games, Indiana has outscored its opponents 44-36 in the fourth quarter in the last two games.
Something to consider for those who bet online: Four of Indiana’s last five games finished over the total.

Las Vegas has won eight games in a row against Indiana with all the wins by double figures. The question is whether Indiana can offer enough resistance to cover against the WNBA spreads for just the second time in the last seven meetings against the Aces.
