Thrilling Rematch
The New York Liberty and Minnesota Lynx will meet for the second time this season, with both teams looking to stay in the postseason hunt. Although Minnesota started the season slowly, it has steadily climbed the rankings. Minnesota’s win over the Liberty was one of two upset wins last week that now have the Lynx at sixth in the league. New York, meanwhile, remains second in the WNBA and will be hoping to avenge that first loss. According to WNBA odds, the Liberty are favored in the rematch.
Liberty Find New Leader
New York got its second win in a row after a new leading scorer helped the team sneak out a close victory over Los Angeles.

Although Breanna Stewart and Sabrina Ionescu typically lead the Liberty in scoring, it was Courtney Vandersloot who stepped up in their last win, leading the team with a season-high 23 points.
Vandersloot scored 20 of her 23 points after halftime to help New York close the game on a 10-2 run to defeat the Sparks 76-69, while Stewart also added 16 points.
Though Stewart and Ionescu both played well in the Liberty’s first game against Minnesota, Vandersloot didn’t play, and having a strong third-scoring option should make them a solid WNBA pick to get a game back on the Lynx.
Lynx Can’t Continue Hot Streak
Minnesota saw its three-game win streak come to an end, falling to Connecticut in its second straight game against the Sun.
The Lynx’ offense was key in their win streak, averaging 90.7 points a game to help them upset the second and third-ranked Liberty and Sun, but they couldn’t get it going in their second game against Connecticut.
Minnesota shot just 39% to score 69 points against the Sun, with three players reaching double digits but no one scoring more than 16 points.
The Lynx are averaging 80.1 points a game and scored 88 in their first matchup with New York, but bettors may want to see if they can start stronger before taking advantage of WNBA live betting odds.

Liberty vs Lynx Picks and Prediction
Though Minnesota got the better of New York the first time, the Liberty likely won’t let that happen again a second time. New York was without one of its key leaders in the first game and was also playing its fourth game in six days.
The Liberty should be more rested this time, and the return of Vandersloot, who is fresh off a season high, should bring a boost. The Lynx are still missing leading scorer Napheesa Collier. New York has played well on the road with a 10-2 record, and it should grab another win to avenge its first loss against Minnesota.
