Streaking Liberty ATS Pick to Clip Wings

Points Could Come Early and Often

Dallas-New York Could Head Over Once Again

The New York Liberty topped the Chicago Sky in their last game even playing without star guard Sabrina Lonescu. She is listed as probable for Tuesday’s matchup against the Dallas Wings. Keep an eye on Ionescu’s status when it comes to making WNBA predictions.

The Liberty is currently favored by 6½ points as New York looks to add to its WNBA-leading total of 16 road wins. Dallas is just 10-8 at home this season.

While New York needs some help from first-place Las Vegas, there is a chance that the Liberty could still secure the top seed in the upcoming WNBA playoffs. Dallas is sitting in fourth place in the WNBA with three games remaining.

The teams split the two previous matchups this season. New York won 102-93 as the 8½-point favorite, according to the WNBA picks, on June 11 and Dallas emerged victorious 98-88 as the 7½-point underdog on July 19. Both games went well over the total.

With each of the last four games going over the total, the total has been set at 171½ and that is the highest in a New York-Dallas game since 2018.

According to the WNBA betting lines, New York (+140) is second only to defending WNBA champion Las Vegas in the odds to win the WNBA title, with Dallas coming in third at +2800. Breanna Stewart of the Liberty is priced at -110 in the odds to win the WNBA Regular-Season Most Valuable Player award.

Sabally Lighting It Up, Wings are Not

Dallas has found a running mate for former WNBA scoring champion Arike Ogunbowale.

Over the last five games, forward Satou Sabally leads the WNBA in scoring as she is averaging 28 points on 45.8% shooting. She is second in the league in 3-pointers made and fourth in 3-pointers attempted during that stretch.

One concern is that Dallas is just 2-3 in those games so it will take more than two high-scoring players for the Wings to make noise come playoff time.

Liberty Strong Bet on Road vs West

There is not a team playing better right now than New York as the Liberty takes a six-game winning streak into this matchup.

The key has been the late-season surge by Betnijah Laney and Jonquel Jones. Both are proven scorers in the WNBA, but they had to adapt to different roles with the offense running through Breanna Stewart and Sabrina Ionescu.

Laney has at least 15 points in each of her last four games and is shooting 52% from the floor during that stretch. Jones has seen her offense come and go this season. For those who bet online, keep in mind that New York has won the last 12 games when Jones scores in double figures.

New York is 8-2 on the road against the Western Conference this season.

Wings vs Liberty Head-To-Head

Dallas has won four of the last six games versus New York and Dallas is 5-2 in the last seven home games against the Liberty.

The winning team has scored 102 and 98 points in the first two meetings this season.

Ogunbowale had 25 points in the last matchup as the Wings outscored the Liberty 49-37 in the second half.

Liberty vs Wings Betting Lines

Liberty vs Wings Best Bet

It is pretty hard to pick against the Liberty right now and with not much riding on this game, there are even more reasons to roll with the favored Liberty.

The teams rank second and third in the WNBA in points per game so don’t expect a low-scoring affair.

Monitor the availability of Dallas post player Kalani Brown because the Wings would miss her size and inside presence if she misses this matchup.

This will be the final meeting of the regular season between the teams.

New York is 9-1 outright in the last 10 games and has covered in eight of those games, with Dallas covering in just four of the last 10 contests.

The total has gone over in 10 of the last 11 games played by Dallas as well as in the last five home games. The total finished under in 10 of the last 14 New York games.

The Liberty are second in the WNBA with a scoring differential of 9.2 points with Dallas coming in fourth at 2.4.

The Liberty are 15-4 against Western Conference teams this season, but just 9-10 against the WNBA betting lines. Dallas is 10-8 outright and against the spread versus the Eastern Conference.
