Seattle Seeks Season-High Third Straight Win
The Seattle Storm have won back-to-back games for the first time this season but will be the underdog in the WNBA odds when they host the Dallas Wings on Wednesday night.
The Storm won at Chicago 83-74 on Friday and rolled to an 85-62 triumph at Indiana on Sunday to give their playoff hopes some life. Seattle also gave New York – which owns the second-best record in the league – all it could handle in an 86-82 loss before the two wins.

Jewell Loyd, who leads the league at 24.3 points per game, scored 26 and dished out eight assists in the win over Indiana. The Storm shot 53.4% from the field overall and drained 12-of-24 from 3-point range in that victory.
Today’s game marked the seventh time in franchise history Seattle shot 53%+ FG%, 50%+ 3PT FG%, and 84%+ FT% in a game and the first since Sept 17, 2021.https://t.co/Mh3CGShnNf

Dallas has won eight of 11 games despite losing to Connecticut (19-7) and league-best Las Vegas (24-2) of late. In between the losses, the Wings routed Washington 90-62.
Seattle is +40000 odds to win the WNBA title in live betting, while Dallas is +4000.
Wings Putting Up Points
Dallas gave league-leading Las Vegas a tough game Sunday, pulling within three points with 7:30 left before succumbing.
The Wings have scored at least 90 points in five of their last six contests and are third in the league (86.2), with four players averaging at least 12.9.
Arike Ogunbowale was held to 14 on Sunday but is averaging a team-best 21.6 points. Satou Sabally (17.6) and Natasha Howard (17.4) are next. Sabally had a triple-double against Washington and Howard has double-doubles in five of her last nine games.
Teaira McCowan led the way against Las Vegas with 25 points and 14 boards – her third double-double in five games – and averages 12.9 points, along with a team-best 9.3 rebounds overall.

The over is 5-1 at the sportsbook in the last six Dallas games but just 12-13 on the season.
Skies Clearing for Storm
Seattle is still four games behind Chicago for the eighth and final playoff spot but can continue to climb if it plays like the last few games more often.
The Storm are shooting 45.4% from the field over the last three contests – well above their season mark (40.6, worst in league) – and 37.5% from 3-point range (35.2 on the season).
Loyd hit 7-of-15 from the field Sunday after making 31% of her shots in her previous four contests. Gabby Williams has also stepped up, scoring 31 points the past two games combined after averaging 5.0 in her first five contests of the season.
Rookie Jordan Horston is also averaging 13.8 points over the past five games while shooting 58.7% from the field for Seattle.
According to WNBA lines, the under is 5-1in the last six Seattle games but just 13-12 on the season.

Wings vs Storm Picks and Prediction
Defense has been lacking in the first two matchups and it would be difficult to bet against the over in this one.
Dallas shot 50% from the floor in both games. Seattle’s 109 points in the June matchup was its high point of the season. The Wings’ 103 was their second most.
Despite just six wins on the season, the Storm are 14-10-1 ATS and 2-0 in the games against Dallas (5-8 road). We think they can make it 3-0.
The Dallas Wings are listed at -240 in our Vegas WNBA lines. This means that if you wager $100 on Wings, you have a chance to win $42. The Seattle Storm are +200, offering a chance to win $200 on a $100 wager.
The implied probability attached to the betting lines gives Dallas Wings a 70.59% chance to win, with Seattle Storm at 33.33%.
