Online Poker Tournaments

1 General Rules
(I) These BetUS Poker Rules must be read with the BetUS Rules & Regulations.
(II) The BetUS Rules & Regulations take precedence in the event of a conflict.

1.2 Basic Game Rules
(I) Unless stated otherwise, all Games use a standard 52-card deck.
(II) Universal poker hand rankings apply.

1.3 Connection and Server Issues
(I) BetUS Poker is not responsible for player losses from disconnections.
(II) Reasonable compensation may be provided if server-side issues are the cause. Compensation criteria is subject to management discretion and determined on a case by case basis.

1.4 Unethical Behavior
(I) Unethical or unfair behavior is prohibited.
(II) Collusion, advice from others, and third-party tools during play are not allowed.
(III) Sharing or contributing to another player’s purchases is forbidden.
(IV) BetUS Poker uses detection tools to prevent abuse.
(V) Suspected violations may lead to action, including account closure. BetUS Poker reserves the right to forfeit winnings associated with violations of the BetUS Poker Rules.
(VI) Fairness to all players is prioritized.

1.5 Software and Tools
(I) Use of bots, real-time advice tools, or any unfair aid is banned.
(II) Violators may face warnings, forfeitures, or account closure.
(III) BetUS Poker reviews hand histories to ensure fairness.

1.6 Connection Issues
(I) Reconnection time may be provided but is not guaranteed.
(II) If a player is disconnected, their hand will be folded if action is pending.

2. Tournament Rules
2.1 General Rules
(I) All tournaments start on schedule. BetUS Poker may cancel or delay events without notice.
(II) Tournament details are posted in the lobby.
(III) BetUS Poker may change formats or parameters without notice.
(IV) Seating is random; seat changes are not allowed.
(V) Rebuy/add-on eligibility requires sufficient funds.
(VI) Multiple accounts per tournament are prohibited. Players found to be participating in account sharing will have their account closed and winnings made forfeit.
(VII) Un-registration is allowed up to a few minutes before some events.
(VIII) Canceled tournaments are refunded per this policy.

2.2 Eliminations
(I) The tournament ends when one player has all the chips.
(II) Tables may be rebalanced to ensure fairness.

2.3 Breaks
(I) Scheduled breaks are shown in the lobby.

2.4 Disconnection
(I) Hands are folded if a disconnected player fails to act.
(II) Players seated at the start of a hand are dealt in, regardless of connection status.

2.5 Time Bank
(I) Each player gets a limited decision-time bank.
(II) If time runs out, the bank activates automatically.
(III) It cannot be replenished.

2.6 How Winners are Determined
Players may use any combination of the two-hole cards initially dealt to them at the beginning of the game and the five community cards turned over throughout the course of the game, or they may use the five community cards and no hole cards to make the highest ranking five-card poker hand. The following shall apply for determining which player wins the pot:
·    The pot shall be won to the player with the highest ranking five-card poker hand, according to the hand and card rankings shown above. All other players shall lose.
·    In the event that more than one player has the highest ranked hand, the pot shall be split equally among all players with the winning hand.
·    In the instance that there are an odd number of chips, the odd chips shall be won to the player closest to the left of the dealer button.

2.7 Winning of Pots
Eligibility for Pots
Players are eligible to receive a share of the pot based on their participation and performance in designated poker games or tournaments. Players must adhere to the rules of the specific game or tournament to qualify for pot wins.

Pot Distribution
·   The pot is offered to the player(s) with the winning hand, as determined by the specific rules of the poker game being played. In the case of a tie, the pot will be split equally among the tied players.
·  Timing of Pot Win: Pots are won immediately upon the conclusion of a hand or tournament. Players will receive their winnings directly into their account.

BETUS POKER TOURNAMENT CANCELLATION AND REFUND POLICY

1 GENERAL
a. This BetUS Poker tournament cancellation and refund policy (“Policy”) must be read alongside the BetUS General Rules & Regulations and BetUS Poker Rules.
b. In case of any inconsistency between this Policy, the Rules & Regulations, the BetUS Poker Rules, or any other applicable rules provided by BetUS Poker, the resolution will follow this order of precedence: the BetUS Rules & Regulations; the BetUS Poker Rules; this Policy; any other applicable rules provided by BetUS Poker.
c. This Policy is applicable to both Cash entries and tournaments tickets.
d. Capitalized terms used but not defined in this Policy are as defined in the BetUS Poker Rules.

2 CANCELLATION AND REFUNDS

2.1 Where Cancellation Occurs before a Tournament Commences:
If a tournament is cancelled before it commences, registered players will be refunded:
a. their buy-in amount;
b. their Entry Fee (tournament fee);
c. if a tournament ticket was used, it will be returned to the account;
d. if the tournament is a freeroll, no refund will be provided due to the Entry Fee having no value.

2.2 Where Cancellation Occurs after a Tournament has Commenced:
a. If cancelled before the Prize Stage, all remaining players will be refunded their Entry Fee, and the total buy-ins, re-buys, and add-ons will be split:
I. 50% equally among remaining players;
II. 50% proportionally based on chip count.
b. If no players have been eliminated, refunds follow section 2.1.
c. If cancelled after the Prize Stage, the Prize Pool will be split:
I. each player receives the minimum unawarded prize;
II. the rest is split based on chip count.
d. If a tournament with a guaranteed prize is cancelled, only the accumulated Prize Pool is distributed.
e. Eliminated players are not entitled to refunds.
