The objective of Single-Hand Blackjack is to beat the dealer’s hand without exceeding a total of 21. At the beginning of each round, players place their bets within the minimum and maximum bet amounts specified by the table. Once the bets are placed, the dealer deals two cards to each player and two to themselves, with one card face up and the other face down.

The value of each card is determined as follows: numbered cards (2-10) retain their face value, face cards (Jacks, Queens, and Kings) are valued at 10, and Aces can be counted as either 1 or 11, depending on the player’s choice. After receiving the initial two cards, players have several options:
