NHL Odds – Edmonton Oilers vs Florida Panthers Stanley Cup Finals
The NHL Stanley Cup Final is set, and the Florida Panthers are back from the East, ready to face the Edmonton Oilers in a surprising twist from the Western Conference. The Panthers have the home-ice advantage, a big plus considering Edmonton’s strong playoff performance.
Game 1 starts Saturday at 8 p.m. at Sunrise’s Amerant Bank Arena. The Panthers will also host Games 2, 5, and 7 if necessary. Meanwhile, the Oilers will host Games 3, 4, and 6 at Rogers Place. Interestingly, the Panthers won both regular-season matchups against the Oilers, taking a 5-3 win at home on November 20 and a dominant 5-1 victory in Edmonton on December 16.
The Oilers’ postseason success has been fueled by generational talent Connor McDavid, who leads the NHL with 31 points in 18 games. Leon Draisaitl follows with 28 points, and Evan Bouchard is right behind with 27. Zach Hyman has also shone, leading the league with 14 goals this postseason. Goalie Stuart Skinner has been solid in goal for the Oilers, boasting an 11-5 record, a 2.49 GAA, and a .897 save percentage. Calvin Pickard has stepped in with a 1-1 record and a 2.21 GAA in his appearances.
For the Panthers, Matthew Tkachuk leads with 19 points in the playoffs, while Carter Verhaeghe and Aleksander Barkov each have 17 points. Sam Reinhart has added 12 points to the mix. In goal, Sergei Bobrovsky has started every game for the Panthers, posting a 12-5 record with a 2.20 GAA and a .908 save percentage. Backup Anthony Stolarz hasn’t seen any playoff action yet.
