College Football Specials Odds and Lines

Beyond the standard NCAAF lines, specials markets let you bet on the season’s bigger storylines rather than a single result. BetUS currently has two boards up for 2026-27: which teams reach the 12-team College Football Playoff, and which teams finish the regular season undefeated.

On the playoff board, Notre Dame is the shortest price at -800, followed by Ohio State (-375), Indiana (-350), and Oregon (-325). Georgia and Texas Tech sit at -250, with Texas at -225 and Miami at -275. From there the board opens up considerably: Texas A&M (+125), Alabama and LSU (+150), and Oklahoma (+175) all sit near even money, reflecting how competitive the SEC’s at-large picture looks.

The undefeated market is where the longer numbers live, since running the table through a full schedule is rare even for the best teams. Notre Dame (+150) and Texas Tech (+175) are the shortest prices, with Indiana (+350) next and Oregon and Miami both at +500. Beyond the top handful, prices climb quickly — Texas and Utah sit at +1000, and most of the field is priced at +2000 or longer.

Both boards are posted well before kickoff, so numbers will move as the season unfolds. Check college football futures for the latest lines.

College Football Specials FAQs

Specials are markets that aren’t tied to the outcome of one game. Instead of betting a spread or total, you’re wagering on a season-long question — whether a team reaches the playoff, or whether it finishes the regular season without a loss.

You’re betting on whether a specific team goes through its entire regular season without losing. Because a single defeat settles the bet, prices are much longer than playoff-qualification odds even for elite teams — Notre Dame is the shortest price on the board at +150, and most of the field sits at +2000 or beyond.

As an independent, Notre Dame doesn’t play a conference championship game, which means one fewer high-stakes matchup against a top opponent. Combined with a schedule it can shape more freely than conference members can, that gives the Irish a cleaner path to both an unbeaten record and a playoff berth.

Yes. These are preseason numbers, and they’ll move throughout the year as results, injuries, and rankings shift. Undefeated markets in particular move fast — a team’s price shortens sharply as it keeps winning, and the bet is settled the moment it loses.

Rolling If Bets (RIF) allow you to use the balance (amount) from existing wagers to make a new wager. As long as existing wagers have not been graded, the amount wagered can still be used to make new wagers. However, if your original wager loses, the Rolling If Bet is then cancelled. There are two options for ties (pushes); you can specify if you want the Rolling If Bet to continue in case of a tie or simply cancel the RIF.

Rolling If Bets are:

  • only allowed on straight bets, Parlays and Teasers.
  • not available with Free Plays or Futures and Props
  • only available if you have pre existing, non graded wagers
  • you can only use the funds from the amount of the pre existing wager

How to Place a Rolling If Bet:

  • Choose any straight, parlay or teaser and Place it on the Bet Slip
  • Click on the Rolling If Bet button next to the wager detail
  • In the RIF dropdown, choose a wager that you want to use for RIF
  • Click on "If Win Only" or "If Win or Push" (explained above)
  • Fill in the amount and confirm your wager (the system will not allow you a higher amount than what is available)
