NFL Week 3 Odds and Betting Lines

For the second consecutive week, the NFL will feature a doubleheader for Monday Night Football. Following the Saints-Panthers and the Browns-Steelers in Week 2, the Philadelphia Eagles will visit the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, and the Los Angeles Rams will head east to face the Cincinnati Bengals. NFL odds for Week 3 will likely list the Eagles and Bengals as heavy favorites. Frankly, both games are underwhelming matchups for primetime football. This will be the first Rams-Bengals matchup since Los Angeles defeated Cincinnati 23-20 in Super Bowl 56. This storyline could be the only thing keeping NFL fans tuned in.

Top Matchups and Upset Picks: NFL Week 3 Games

Sunday Night Football also features an unappealing game between the Pittsburgh Steelers and Las Vegas Raiders. Somehow, the Steelers ended up with back-to-back primetime showings. The sportsbook expects Pittsburgh to finish around .500 with a projected total of 8½. The Raiders also entered the season at +350 to make the postseason.

Thursday Night Football will be in the Bay Area, with the New York Giants visiting the San Francisco 49ers. This is easily the top primetime game of Week 3, as both teams made the playoffs last season. This will be a huge game for New York. It pulled a difficult schedule, causing the team to fall out of the playoffs in many NFL predictions. Las Vegas odds will favor the 49ers. If New York can find a way to win this, it should have a big impact on its postseason hopes.

Week 3 will be carried by a solid slate of 1:00 p.m. ET games. This includes the Atlanta Falcons visiting Motor City to take on the Detroit Lions, the Green Bay Packers playing host to the New Orleans Saints, the Los Angeles Chargers clashing with the Minnesota Vikings, and the New England Patriots and New York Jets meeting in one of the NFL’s best rivalries.

Week 2 Showdowns: Rising Teams, Upset Potential, and Rivalry Revival

The Falcons and Lions are teams on the rise, looking to make their first postseason appearances in over five years. The Saints are the NFL lines’ favorite to win the NFC South, while the Packers are a wild card entering the season. Green Bay has a solid roster but a good season will likely depend on quarterback Jordan Love. The Chargers and Vikings had their 2022 seasons end with disappointing losses in the Wild Card Round. This could be an entertaining game with plenty of points, led by superstars on offense. Aaron Rodgers will make his debut in the Jets-Patriots rivalry. New York has lost 14 consecutive games against New England. Will Rodgers get the Jets over the hump?

Like in Week 2, the second round of Sunday games is lacking. It features the Carolina Panthers against the Seattle Seahawks, the Chicago Bears against the Kansas Chiefs, and the Dallas Cowboys against the Arizona Cardinals.

The Bears over the Chiefs could be a popular upset pick among gamblers, depending on the results of the first two weeks. Chicago could have a turnaround season, and taking out the defending Super Bowl champions would certainly turn heads. NFL odds will tab the Cowboys as heavy favorites against the Cardinals, who could be the worst team in the 2023-24 season. The Panthers-Seahawks could be the most competitive game. Carolina’s defense is capable of slowing Seattle’s offense. If it does, rookie quarterback Bryce Young could grab a signature win early in the season.

NFL Odds and Exciting Contests

Overall, Week 3’s games take a step down compared to Week 1 and Week 2. Still, there are plenty of intriguing picks available at BetUS Sportsbook, offering the chance for big paydays. Fortunately, NFL Week 4 Odds will up the ante with an exciting slate.

With the stakes getting higher and teams vying for crucial victories, anticipation builds as we delve deeper into the season.

The momentum gained in Week 3 will undoubtedly carry over, setting the stage for more captivating contests and unforgettable moments in NFL Week 4 Odds.
