We’ve seen crash games and witnessed the live casino revolution, and there has been no shortage of casino slots—now it’s time for something different. Welcome to the Diamond Mines slot, or what appears to be a slot, because once you start clicking, you’ll realize it’s like nothing else on the market.
At first glance, Diamond Mines looks like other online gambling slot machines. It comes to us from Betsoft, a developer known for producing eye-catching 3D slots. It also has a reasonably standard 5×5 grid. But there is no spin button, and there are no reels.
The goal is to click the spaces on the grid and reveal either Diamonds or Mines. The former will increase your win multiplier, while the latter will end the game.
Unlike slots and casino table games, where you generally win the amount that appears, the amount shown in Diamond Mines is an ongoing multiplier. Every time you reveal a Diamond, it grows. You can cash out and collect that amount at any time or continue increasing it.
If you step on a Mine, though, you will lose the multiplier that has accumulated to that point.
There are 24 spaces total, and if you reveal all of the Diamonds, you will receive a prize of 24x.
If you play this game at BetUS Sportsbook online, you can wager anywhere from $0.15 to $50. You should find similar payout levels when playing at another online casino.
Start the game by pressing the play button in the bottom right. Remember, though, there are no reels to spin, so this loads the grid. You must then click the purple squares to see what they’re hiding.
There is an auto-play option if you’d prefer to sit back and watch. You can also select the fast-forward button to speed up the selection process or hit the button showing three question marks to pick a square randomly.
The maximum payout is 24x the bet.
The multiplier increases as you progress. The menu on the left will show your current win multiplier, followed by the amount you will win if the next square is a Diamond.
The game ends, the win multiplier is erased, and a new game starts.
