Monday’s MLB Parlay: All Rise for Judge, Sit for Waldron

As Major League Baseball heats up, savvy bettors are zoning in on standout opportunities that blend performance trends with pivotal matchups. On Monday, spotlighting Aaron Judge and Matt Waldron offers a compelling narrative. Judge’s resurgence and Waldron’s deceptive pitch repertoire present tantalizing prospects for overbets in their respective games.

Exploring these and other strategic parlays could yield rewarding payouts for those looking to capitalize on player momentum and situational advantages in the MLB betting landscape.

Yankees Aaron Judge Over 1+ Home Runs (+200)

Aaron Judge is on fire, just in time to face Grayson Rodriguez and the Baltimore Orioles on Monday. It’s not just the hot weather in Baltimore — Judge’s bat is en fuego.

Despite a slow start to the season, Judge has smashed six homers, including a recent streak of long balls in his last few games. He’s hit home runs in his last two games and three in his last five. With five of these homers coming off right-handers, Rodriguez might want to prepare for a tough evening.

Rodriguez has a shaky record against righties this year, having already surrendered three home runs to them. And in his past encounters with Judge, he’s opted to walk him twice rather than pitch to him. Perhaps he’s trying to avoid a repeat performance of “Judge, jury and executioner” at the plate.

The beautiful night in Baltimore could mean the ball will be flying, setting the stage for Judge to continue his home run parade. With his recent power surge, Judge facing Rodriguez could very well turn into a case of ‘court is in session, and Judge is presiding.’

Given the conditions, Rodriguez’s splits and Judge’s current form, it looks like a home run is just waiting to happen. The game is on, and the MLB odds are in Judge’s favor.

Padres P Matt Waldron Over 4.5 Strikeouts (-110)

Matt Waldron might not be the first name that pops into your head when you think “strikeout king,” but when he faces the Cincinnati Reds on Monday, it’s a good bet he’ll be wearing his crown. The Reds might make you a bit nervous with their own performances. Still, MLB betting on Waldron’s strikeout over seems like a clever play, especially considering Cincinnati’s penchant for striking out at a near-historic rate against right-handers.

Waldron’s pitching style isn’t flashy, but it’s as captivating as a magic trick if you’re into knuckleballs. His knuckleball could seriously bewilder the Reds, much like a Sudoku puzzle confuses my uncle at family gatherings. And just when batters think they’ve got him figured out, he throws in that 91 mph fastball. It’s like a game of whack-a-mole, but with baseballs.

Now, look at guys like Cincinnati’s Will Benson, Jeimer Candelario, and Elly De La Cruz, who are swinging their bats like they’re trying to put out a campfire and have strikeout rates over 30% each. With Waldron’s recent performance against the Rockies — where the air is as thin as my patience in traffic — he managed to notch five strikeouts. If he can handle Denver’s altitude, dealing with Cincy’s sea-level lineup might feel like a breeze.

It’s not about expecting miracles from Waldron. It’s about playing the Vegas MLB betting odds when they’re in your favor. Let’s ride this trend to an over on strikeouts and hope Waldron’s knuckleball is as tricky as trying to find your keys in a messy room.
