NFL Top 10 Power Ranking Post 2024 Draft
These Teams Are Set to Dominate the NFL Season With a Cemented Roster and Star Rookies
Stacked Teams
With most NFL news in the books this offseason, let’s look at our power rankings following the draft.
No. 10 Dallas Cowboys
After months of NFL rumors, it has been such an underwhelming offseason in Big D, but who else belongs in this No. 10 spot? You could make an argument for the Dolphins or new-look Falcons here.
Outside of the Eagles, no NFC East team looks particularly intimidating heading into 2024. The Cowboys should be able to stack up wins against the bottom of the division. The question is not the regular season, but it is whether the Cowboys will turn into a pumpkin when midnight strikes in the playoffs.

No. 9 Green Bay Packers
Green Bay surprised in the NFL playoffs, and some of us owe Jordan Love an apology. After a shaky start to the season, Love settled down and proved the Packers have found their QB1.
Love is likely pleased after the Packers used their first-rounder on Arizona tackle Jordan Morgan. Green Bay is a sleeper team to win the NFC.
Get to know your newest Packer, Jordan Morgan.

No. 8 Buffalo Bills
The Bills are puzzling because this has been an offseason defined by attrition. Gone are Diggs and Gabe Davis prompting questions about whether Josh Allen has enough weapons to compete with the other top AFC teams.
Keon Coleman has already become a fan favorite but the rookie will need to do more than go viral to make fans forget that the top receivers are now playing elsewhere.

No. 7 San Francisco 49ers
The Niners did not have a bad draft but none of their picks particularly wowed fans. Given San Francisco’s strong track record, we’re going to give them the benefit of the doubt.

Yet, with all the drama surrounding the Niners receivers, there should be some skepticism hovering over the Bay Area. San Francisco has what it takes to win the NFC, but teams like the Lions and Eagles look better than they were last season.
No. 6 Detroit Lions
Detroit showed out for the draft and when the NFL schedule resumes fans should have an NFC contender. The Lions traded up to stop Bama corner Terrion Arnold’s fall in the first round. Detroit heads into 2024 with the experience of a deep playoff run.

Much to the delight of Eminem, this looks to be an early Super Bowl contender.
No. 5 Cincinnati Bengals
As long as you have Joe Burrow as QB1, your team is going to be a contender. Cincy wisely focused on the interior lines with three of their first picks.

Did the Bengals do enough this offseason to sit atop the AFC? It remains to be seen, and the uncertainty with Tee Higgins does not help.
No. 4 Philadelphia Eagles
There is a lot to like about the Eagles draft. Philly landed two cornerbacks projected to go in the first round with Quinyon Mitchell and Cooper DeJean.
“If I had said to you last week, before the draft kicked off, that the Eagles would come out of this draft with Quinyon Mitchell, Cooper DeJean, and three added picks for next year – what would be your reaction? No chance.”

The Eagles’ defense faded down the stretch and is a major reason why Philly did not make it out of the Wild Card round. If Philadelphia can figure out the coaching dysfunction that was known as last season, the Eagles have a chance to once again contend in the NFC.
No. 3 Houston Texans
That loaded conference also has teams like the Texans on the come-up. Remember, C.J. Stroud was just in his rookie season.
Our first chance to hear from the new, Houston Texan, Stefon Diggs:
The Pro Bowler gave a glowing review on his new QB, C.J. Stroud:
“I’m extremely excited. He’s a hell of a quarterback, he’s a hell of a leader— it’s easy to fall in love with a quarterback like that.” pic.twitter.com/qw5pnK5JBL

Now, Stroud has a full NFL season under his belt and the front office upgraded the offensive weapons by trading for Stefon Diggs. Georgia corner Kamari Lassiter has a chance to be a baller.
No. 2 Baltimore Ravens
There are plenty of reasons to still be bullish that Lamar Jackson and the Ravens are eventually going to figure it out. The addition of star running back Derrick Henry should ease the load on Jackson when NFL games resume. Baltimore nabbed a potential starter in the first round with Clemson corner Nate Wiggins.

The biggest challenge for the Ravens is playing in a loaded AFC. Oh yeah, and that Mahomes guy is pretty good, too.
No. 1 Kansas City Chiefs
Let’s not overthink this one. The Chiefs added elite SPEED with the addition of Xavier Worthy then loaded up on an offensive lineman in the draft to help protect Patrick Mahomes.

Other offseason moves included signing Hollywood Brown and inking Travis Kelce to a contract extension. The one blemish is the very serious situation unfolding with Rashee Rice.
Kansas City gets extra credit for Taylor Swift liking NFL draft posts. The Chiefs are still in their championship era.
