Palace Unstoppable? Bet on Glasner’s Men vs Man United

It wasn’t long ago that Crystal Palace looked in grave danger of suffering relegation, but their fortunes have been turned around since Oliver Glasner replaced Roy Hodgson in late February. After picking up three straight wins, Palace escaped Fulham with a point thanks to a thunderbolt from Jeffrey Schlupp, and we’re backing them to extend that streak against Manchester United.

Palace Favored: BTTS Surefire in Man Utd Clash

Despite sitting 14 points behind Manchester United, Crystal Palace enters the match as slight favorites as they face off against the Red Devils, and they’ll be looking to make it three wins in a row at Selhurst Park. The money’s on Palace extending their unbeaten streak, but don’t be surprised if both teams find the back of the net in South London.

Erik ten Hag’s future remains uncertain with United’s league form suffering a nosedive, and while he does have a potential saving grace in the FA Cup Final, his United side has looked completely disjointed and incapable of protecting a lead or staving off the threat in transition. The Dutchman’s days could very well be numbered at Old Trafford, but as for Oliver Glasner, he is just getting started in England.

Palace has scored 2+ goals in their last three home matches. They could have a field day as they take on a United side that has looked weak at the back, failing to keep a clean sheet on the road since their stalemate at Liverpool on Dec. 17. Both teams have scored in each of United’s last eight matches across all competitions, and we’re betting on this trend to continue.

Fernandes vs Mateta: Firing Power on Both Sides

Bruno Fernandes has continued to show why he is the attacking heartbeat of this United team, finding the back of the net in five straight matches before being held scoreless in their 1-1 draw vs Burnley. As for Palace, they are finding goals easy to come by. They haven’t been held scoreless at home in the league since Dec. 6, and one of the biggest reasons has been the form of Jean-Philippe Mateta. The French striker has found the net on six occasions since Glasner’s appointment, scoring back-to-back braces before being kept under wraps against Brentford.

I’m backing him to continue his red-hot form vs United in my Premier League betting picks.
