Friday’s Best NBA Player Props: Embiid, Beal Top Picks

The NBA delivered more memorable moments during Thursday’s action. We managed a 2-1 day with our best NBA player props, and I’m eager to keep cooking on Friday night with another massive slate of games.

I’m here to break down Friday’s terrific 15-game slate and give my NBA predictions.

Friday’s Best NBA Player Props: Embiid, Beal Top Picks

The playoff seeding races are red-hot across the NBA. There are plenty of bets to select from Friday night. Here are the best NBA prop bets for Friday, April 12.

NBA Player Prop: 76ers C Joel Embiid Over 31½ Points (-126)

With all 30 teams in action, we can look at many different places when NBA betting online. I’m not getting cute with just two days left of regular-season action. Joel Embiid is listed as questionable to play in tonight’s matchup at home against the Orlando Magic. The Sixers have had two days off since their last game, so I expect Embiid to be a full-go. We were on Embiid in his previous game and he came through for us, scoring 37 points.

The reigning MVP made his triumphant return last week, and the 76ers are desperately attempting to climb out of the Play-In with two games left to go. They are currently one game behind the Pacers and Magic for the No. 6 seed. We can trust Philadelphia not to mess around and take care of business tonight.

Embiid has exceeded this line in four of his last six meetings with Orlando, including 36 points in the previous matchup this season in Orlando. The Magic boast a top defensive group, but Embiid is matchup-proof. Embiid is averaging 10.7 free throw attempts per game, the second most in the NBA behind Giannis Antetokounmpo. Expect him to play bully ball. For your NBA bets online, fire up the reigning MVP with confidence tonight!

NBA Player Prop: Suns SG Bradley Beal Over 1½ Made Threes (-154)

The Phoenix Suns are set to battle the Sacramento Kings on the road. I expect the Suns to be out for blood against this Kings squad playing on the second night of a back-to-back. This projects to be the No. 7 seed versus No. 8 seed matchup for the Play-In Tournament as things currently sit with the Western Conference standings. The Suns still have a shot at the sixth seed if they win their final two games and the Pelicans drop their last two.

Bradley Beal has undoubtedly had a frustrating start to his career with the Suns. He’s been dealing with different injuries since the beginning of the season, but he appears healthy for the Suns’ playoff run. Beal has knocked down at least two shots from beyond the arc in six of his last eight. The Kings allow the second-best 3-point shooting percentage and are tied with the ninth-most 3-pointers per game allowed. I hate sipping on this much juice on a 3-point prop in NBA predictions, but this is something that you can alternate line bet up to three at plus money if you prefer.

NBA Player Prop: Heat C Bam Adebayo Over 3½ Assists (-154)

The Miami Heat will close their season against the Toronto Raptors in their last two games. The Raptors are an obvious tanking team, so there’s the risk of a blowout, but with RJ Barrett and Immanuel Quickley in the lineup, they should be able to keep this game competitive.

The Raptors have allowed the fourth-most assists per game and the second-most since they lost Scottie Barnes and Jakob Poeltl to injuries. Toronto owns the second-worst defensive rating in the NBA without Barnes and Poeltl. Bam Adebayo should stuff the stat sheet tonight with the help of his teammates in converting his assists chances. The All-Star is averaging four assists per game and finished with four in his previous meeting with the Raptors this season.

NBA Player Prop: Cavaliers PF Evan Mobley Over 15½ Points (-109)

It’s all about motivation at this time of the NBA season. The Cleveland Cavaliers will host the Indiana Pacers and both teams should come into this game motivated to get a win. The visiting Pacers are currently the sixth seed, one game ahead of the surging Sixers, and the Cavs are the four-seed, which would guarantee them home-court advantage through at least the first round of the playoffs.

We’ve been backing big men all season long against this Pacers team, and we will take advantage of it every chance we have left. Indiana allows the most points per game to opposing power forwards. The Pacers are giving up the most points in the paint, and Mobley has finished with 14 and 33 points in his two prior matchups with Indiana this season. He is over this line in six of nine games since he returned to his average minutes after another injury.
