Oh, and don’t worry if you aren’t located in Sin City or can’t travel, as the streaming giant Netflix has you covered!
Netflix has selected Rafa Nadal and Carlos Alcaraz to feature in a new venture set in the glamorous backdrop of Las Vegas.

The Netflix Slam, a recently announced event by the streaming behemoth, will include a face-off between two of Spain’s most prominent tennis players. This match will be exclusively broadcast on the site on March 3.
And if, like myself, you’re tired of waiting for Netflix’s Squid Game Season 2, this game will keep us entertained at the beginning of spring, albeit without the squid and the death!
It is an event that the tennis community has eagerly anticipated. Rafa’s fanbase has been ecstatic since he declared his return; however, the excitement continues. As he enters the concluding phase of his career at the age of 37, Rafa endeavors to make a formidable revival in US Open tennis and on the tour.

Prior to the conclusion of 2023, Alcaraz, whom former player Juan Carlos Ferrero is training, has an exhibition-filled schedule in this final stretch of the season. Furthermore, the day after his match against Novak Djokovic in Riyadh on December 27, he is scheduled to confront Roberto Bautista Agut in Murcia. However, since tennis news reported his match against compatriot Nadal, a unique atmosphere has developed in the community.

It is Netflix’s most recent effort to enter the sports market, following its successes in the television and film industries; the concept was first proposed a year ago, but Nadal’s injury postponed the move.
They have already established a strong connection to the sport through the Break Point series, and following the success of the Netflix Cup of golf, which featured several Formula 1 drivers (including Carlos Sainz), a duel between Alcaraz and 22-time Grand Slam champion Nadal will generate immense interest throughout the tennis community.
The contest will take place in Las Vegas, where the Michelob ULTRA Arena at the Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino will be the center of attention. Additional fixtures will be included in the final lineup, which will be disclosed at a later time.
