BMW Championship Picks

Dustin Johnson +700

He has 22 PGA Tour victories with one major at the US Open, and is coming off an amazing performance at the Northern Trust, where he was dominant. After the third round, he had a five-stroke lead and was -500 in Live Betting at BetUS.com going into the final round. He crushed the field, winning by 11 shots and finishing 30-under-par, which is out of this world. He is an easy choice.

Johnson also reclaimed the No. 1 ranking in the Official World Golf Rankings (OWGR). He is putting so good, hitting approach shots so well and oozing such confidence that if he can keep that up, nobody can catch him. The problem is that, in this funky game of golf, one week to the next can be quite different. He tied for second place two weeks ago in the first major, The PGA Championship, and won The Travelers Championship at the end of June. So this win did not just pop out of nowhere.

Daniel Berger +1800

Berger has been consistent throughout this year, and It is bizarre how close he seems to end up to the leaders every week. He did win the Charles Schwab Challenge on the restart of this COVID 19th hole swing. He has been on fire and in the mix to win every week. Here is an intriguing statistic: in the six PGA Tour events he has entered since the restart, he has one win, one runner-up, two thirds, a tie for 13th, and one missed cut. Going back before the Coronavirus pause, he has top-five finishes in 75% of tournaments entered (six out of eight). If you are looking for consistency, Berger is your picture. Play him to win, to finish top-five and top 10 in golf matchups. And in absolutely every daily fantasy golf lineup.

Russell Henley +7000

Henley is improving every week and has gotten his game together. Currently, he is ranked third on the PGA Tour in greens in regulation (GIR). He is giving himself chances at birdies and eagles regularly. Henley has finished in the top 10 in his last two PGA Golf events. He a great bet to finish in the top 10 here, and in matchups.

Henley is 70-1 to win here. If you put $25 to win on him, and he does, that is a smooth $1750 profit. He would be a great play to finish in the top 5 or top 10, also.

Ryan Palmer +8000

You might’ve thought 70-1 was a long shot but Palmer has a little higher odds here. Palmer is 80-1 and has been consistently playing well. Take advantage of his skills in your daily fantasy golf lineups at FanDuel and Draft Kings with not many people using him. He finished in a tie for eighth place at the Northern Trust and he’s got a great chance to be in the top 10 here. Palmer is going to win one of these weeks and if it happens to be this week, you have an 80-1 payout.

That’s more bragging rights for you to mention the bump in your bank account if one of these guys wins. You’ve got some really solid golf plays. Now all you have to do is bet on it at BetUS! Get your game on!
