Most recently, Simone Biles again showed her relatability by sharing a story on her Instagram. On Monday, in honor of her wedding anniversary, she revealed that she had gotten blackout drunk at her pre-wedding party.

One photo showed her and her mother, Nellie Biles, at a pool party during the wedding weekend. In the caption, Biles jokes, “Momma Biles is probably telling me I need to eat before I black out.”
Underneath the image, she clarified, “Which would have been good advice about 3 hrs before this, because she “did indeed blackout.” In another instance, the athlete shared a picture of herself being fed a beer by someone else. “& then I blacked out,” Biles captioned the photo.

Am I the only one who thinks that perhaps someone who is 4 foot and 8 inches tall should have their drinking monitored? I bet she was three sheets to the wind after her second beer. All jokes aside, some may criticize her for drinking, but let’s not forget that Simone Biles is a grown woman who deserves to have some fun and let loose every once in a while.
I’ll resist making any jokes about her needing to be heavily intoxicated to marry her husband. I stand by my belief that he is a good person, so it’s heartening to see her thrilled about their relocation from Texas to Chicago and celebrating their anniversary with such enthusiasm.
In case you missed it, Simone Biles’ husband, Jonathan Owens, signed a two-year contract with the Chicago Bears in free agency back in March. Owens previously played for the Green Bay Packers.

Ever since December, in an interview where Owens proclaimed himself as the “prize” and claimed not to know his wife, their marriage has been under intense scrutiny by the public. It has been a constant topic in news headlines, with everyone analyzing every move they make. It is undoubtedly a good strategy on Biles’ part to be posting positive content online about the relationship.

One thing’s for sure: We are all eagerly anticipating Simone Biles’s gymnastics at the Summer Olympics 2024! It will be absolutely adorable to see her support her man at more NFL games and to see him cheering her on at the 2024 Olympics.
