*Shrug*
[Jokic] definitely likes horses more than basketball. – Michael Porter Jr.
The NBA MVP race has been decided and Nikola Jokic looks like me after CVS hands me a coupon on a 17-page receipt. The Denver Nuggets posted Jokic’s reaction, and it looks like The Joker could care less.

I guess this is what happens when it is your third time winning the award. It reminds me of the difference between first-time parents and their reactions after the third child.

To hold the firstborn, you have to take a full shower then put on a hazmat suit. By the time baby No. 3 arrives, they are handing you the baby on their way out to the movies.
The good news is the Nuggets’ season may be ending sooner rather than later. We know Jokic’s horses are awaiting his arrival.
It is still hard to argue with Jokic’s stats during his latest MVP run: 26.4 points, 12.4 rebounds, 9 assists, and 1.4 steals per game during the regular season.

Joker May Love Horses More Than Basketball
So, I am joking here but only a little bit. This is the same guy who did not really want to go to the championship parade last year because he missed his horses.
This is not to say Jokic is not a competitor but this guy is #builtdifferent. Don’t just take my word for it. Jokic’s own teammate Michael Porter Jr. made NBA news by revealing the big man “definitely likes horses more than basketball.”

Jokic has developed a friendship with horse harness racer Tim Tetrick.
“He always gets mad at me. He says, ‘I don’t want to talk about basketball.’ And I say, ‘I don’t want to talk about horses,’” Tetrick told NBA.com regarding his friendship with Jokic. “So we’re going to have to meet in the middle here. We laugh about that.”
Soon, the Joker Will Return to the Horse Track Thanks to Ant
For all we know, Jokic may be on his way to a fourth MVP. Something tells us the reaction will be about the same. Jokic is a national treasure just by acting like a regular person.
My favorite thing about Jokic is that he treats the NBA like a 9-5 that he begrudgingly tolerates just to get more money for ✨horse time✨and he’s still the best player in the world

Don’t worry, Joker. Anthony Edwards is about to send you home from the NBA playoffs and back to the horse track. The T-Wolves are two NBA games away from the Western Conference Finals.
