Double Up Brunson, Knicks vs Pacers in Same-Game Parlay

Our NBA predictions have been consistently successful, delivering wins as we closed the regular season. We recently cashed a massive three-leg parlay with the Boston Celtics covering the spread at home and Jayson Tatum posting a double-double. The final leg was a sweat-free win, with the Oklahoma City Thunder defeating the Dallas Mavericks.

This string of successes has given us significant momentum heading into the high-stakes second-round playoff games, and I’m confident we can win big again tonight.

On Wednesday night, we tip off at 8:00 p.m. ET with a clash between Jalen Brunson’s New York Knicks and Tyrese Haliburton’s Indiana Pacers.

I’ve secured the top spots in this Game 2 battle for our NBA same-game parlay bet. The playoff atmosphere is ignited with this second-round matchup set to tip, and there’s a plethora of bets to explore.

I will stick to our winning strategy, which has been consistently successful all season, and construct our best NBA parlay today using a combo of NBA game picks and player props. I’ve meticulously reviewed all the odds and have assembled a three-leg parlay. Let’s delve into the best bets for the Knicks vs. Pacers.

I’m assembling a three-leg parlay. While you could certainly do a ton of your own research, the beauty is that I’ve already done that legwork for you. Let’s dive into the top NBA picks for tonight.

Knicks PG Jalen Brunson Over 36½ Points (-121)

The New York Knickerbockers will host the Indiana Pacers in Game 2 tonight, and I’m going with the chalk with our first leg. The Knicks were locked in against the 76ers in the first round, and they brought that tenacity into Game 1 against the Pacers. There have been plenty of twists and turns in the playoffs so far. However, the one constant has been Jalen Brunson. The Knicks point guard is averaging 36.5 points in the playoffs and is coming off his historic fourth consecutive 40-point game!

Brunson has poured in 39, 47, 40, 41 and 43 points over his last five games. Brunson finds himself in an elite company. He is the first player in NBA history to score 39 or more points while shooting 45% or better in five straight playoff games! His 210 total points in this span are the most in a five-game playoff sample since Michael Jordan in 1993. We are witnessing greatness.

I expect the Knicks to come out and play with their regular intensity and tenacity tonight in Game 2. The Knicks hosted the Pacers twice at MSG during the regular season, and Brunson scored 39 and 40 points. It’s no secret that the Pacers’ defense is porous in the paint. They allowed the second-most points in the paint per game, behind only the Washington Wizards.

During the regular season, Brunson scored a team-high 11.6 points per game in the paint. The Pacers also allowed the most free throw attempts per game, and Brunson led all Knicks in this column. He averaged 6.5 free throw attempts per game during the regular season, and that number has jumped to 11 FTA in the playoffs.

Brunson went 14-for-14 from the stripe in Game 1. If he can continue to get to the line at will, I expect him to exceed this line again. I’m banking on Brunson to continue his historic run!

Pacers C Myles Turner (At Least) 20 Points (+112)

With our next leg, I’m going to roll with the Indiana Pacers’ big man. Myles Turner led Indiana in scoring in Game 1, finishing with 23 points and shooting 50% from the field. Turner has scored 23 points in back-to-back games on the road against the Knicks and three of four matchups this season.

New York has had some devastating injury news this season. First, it was Julius Randle, who is out for the remainder of the year, and in the playoffs they have lost Bojan Bogdanovic and now Mitchell Robinson. It’s becoming a battle of attrition against themselves for the Knicks.

Robinson is an elite defender, and he will be missed at that end of the floor. Without his services, Turner will be looking to score against Isaiah Hartenstein the majority of the time. Hartenstein has been a revelation for the Knicks this season, but Turner is skilled enough to post another 20-point game against him.

Turner is long and athletic for a big man who can shoot from the perimeter. He has knocked down at least two shots from beyond the arc in four of his last five matchups with the Knicks. This is key because the Knicks allowed the third-most threes per game to opposing centers. Turner has scored 20 points in four of seven playoff games. With OG Anunoby presumably locking up Pascal Siakam again, the Pacers will need Turner to get buckets.

Knicks Moneyline (-190) vs Pacers

This goes against my typical handicap, where I would back the team coming off a loss when the refs made mistakes that could have changed the outcome in their favor. The NBA 2-minute report stated there were four missed calls in total, two for each team. Technically, it sounds like the refs didn’t screw it up too badly!

A significant trend this season also favors the Pacers, who went an NBA-best 25-11-2 ATS after a loss. The Knicks are playing a different style of basketball right now than Indiana would have been up against in the regular season.

It’s apparent that Tyrese Haliburton’s back is an issue for him so it’s challenging to trust Indiana on the road. Over the last three seasons, the home team has gone 12-0 in Game 2 of the second round! The Knicks are small favorites again of five points, but history suggests that’s a good thing for New York.

Over the last 20 second-round Game 2 games, home favorites of seven points or less have gone 18-2! The Knicks had the sixth-best home record in the league and went 27-7 as a home favorite. I’m trusting the Knickerbockers to take a commanding 2-0 series lead and protect their home court.
