Jazz Hoping to Cool Red-Hot Grizzlies
The Memphis Grizzlies have come of age this season and now hold the No. 2 seed in the Western Conference. Those who bet online have profited handsomely from them of late as the Grizzlies have won seven straight and 11 of 12.
Their most recent win was one of their best yet. Despite missing multiple starters, they still took down the top-seeded Phoenix Suns.
The Utah Jazz are the complete opposite. They just lost a large double-digit lead to the Golden State Warriors in their last game. It was their sixth loss in their last seven games.
This could be a game that helps turn things around for them – if they can pull off the “upset.” Even though Memphis is higher in the standings, it is sizable dog versus the NBA odds here.
Let’s check the latest NBA Picks, stats, injury reports, and NBA Odds for Team A vs Team B. We’ve plenty of NBA Predictions.
Grizzlies’ Depth Phenomenal
Looking at how good Memphis has done this season, one could assume that the Grizzlies have been healthy and strong the entire time. However, that simply isn’t the case – especially not right now.
They’re overcoming adversity and will have to again as Dillon Brooks is doubtful to suit up against the Jazz. Ja Morant is also still out of commission while his knee recovers.
They are the top two leading scorers on the roster yet they continue to get the job done. Desmond Bane is averaging 18.2 points and Jaren Jackson Jr. is putting up an additional 16.3, which has helped soften the losses.
There are also two other players in double-digit scoring. The depth that this roster has is what makes them so dangerous.
Jazz Have Underlying Problems
Utah has done things the same way for a few seasons now and it looks like the strategy is just starting to come apart. First off, we saw Donovan Mitchell get frustrated after choking away a large lead.
That was before they just did it again in their last game. Another recent statistic shows he passes the ball to center Rudy Gobert just over two times a contest.
Not assists either; just passes. Whether or not there are chemistry issues between the two is yet to be confirmed or denied, but the Jazz really need to do something new.
The entire defense relies upon Gobert to keep them together, and their offense desperately needs Jordan Clarkson and Mitchell. Role players will also be key in helping them break out of the slump.
Grizzlies vs Jazz Head-to-Head
The Grizzlies have defeated the Jazz in both of the regular-season meetings. Prior to those two Memphis wins, though, Utah had won four in a row in this series.

Grizzlies vs Jazz Prediction
The Jazz are currently listed as a 5½-point favorite in the sportsbook but that might be too high. Memphis is coming off its best win of the season without its two best players.
The Jazz, on the other hand, are coming off of a huge loss to a Warriors team that didn’t have Steph Curry active.
Given how these two squads have performed throughout the past month, it is incredibly hard to believe that Utah will not only win, but win by six points. Memphis seems like the better option for your NBA picks.
Pick: Memphis Grizzlies +5½
