Juventus will look to kick off the new Serie A campaign in great manner when they take on visiting Sassuolo at Allianz Stadium on Monday. You can live-bet on the Italian top-flight league action by using our sportsbook.
Juventus: World-Class Squad
After a nine-year run of Juventus supremacy, the Scudetto moved to Milan with Inter and AC Milan winning the title in 2021 and 2022, respectively. It looks like Juventus is eager to bounce back and regain their position at the top of the table in Serie A. This is a team coming off a pair of consecutive poor campaigns, finishing fourth each time after winning the league the nine previous seasons. If you’re betting online, Juventus is the real deal this season.
After a trophyless season, for the first time in 10 years, Juventus looks ready and determined to win the title. Everyone is excited about the new-look Juventus. With a new star in striker Dusan Vlahovic and a talented squad around him, we expect the Old Lady to go all the way and lift the trophy. They signed Paul Pogba and Angel Di Maria, they transferred Bremer from Torino, and on top of that, Federico Chiesa will be back from injury.
However, Pogba’s return has been immediately disrupted by a serious knee injury, which is expected to sideline the French international until after the September international break. Juventus struggled in the preseason with a draw against Barcelona and defeats against Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid ahead of the new campaign.
They will be looking to start the new campaign in style and beat Sassuolo on Monday.
Sassuolo: Busy Summer
After losing some of their best players in the summer transfer window — Gianluca Scamacca signed with West Ham for $40m, Jeremie Boga moved to Atalanta for $25m and Filip Djuricic joined Sampdoria on a free transfer — Sassuolo moved fast adding some extra quality to their squad to fill in the gaps.
They spent $42m on transfers, bringing center-forward Agustin Alvarez from Penarol, attacking midfielder Kristian Thorstvedt from Genk, central-midfielders Matheus Henrique and Abdou Harroui from Gremio and Sparta Rotterdam, respectively, and left-winger Emil Konradsen Ceide from Rosenborg. They still kept experienced Italian internationals Domenico Berardi and Giacomo Raspadori, but they will definitely need some time to include the new players in their system.
After enjoying a superb preseason campaign with four wins in five friendlies, Sassuolo kicked off their domestic season with a disappointing 3-2 defeat to Serie B side Modena in the Italian Cup. Sassuolo head coach Alessio Dionisi is boosted by a fully fit squad to pick from ahead of their trip to Turin this weekend with most of his new players ready to make their debut.
They will definitely have the same attacking style, play on the front foot and ignore the defensive part, so we will include them in our soccer picks and parlays when it comes to goals.

Juventus vs Sassuolo Predictions
The hosts enter this clash as heavy favorites being priced at -210 on the three-way moneyline according to the latest soccer odds while the goal line is set at three.
Sassuolo cashed in on one of their star assets this summer and it will be interesting to see how the new-look Sassuolo side performs. They still have the necessary weapons to at least contribute to the scoresheet on Monday against the Old Lady. Allegri’s men are desperate to make a flying start to the season but they have some injury issues with Pogba, Chiesa, Weston McKennie and Adrien Rabiot all set to miss out. It’s the first game of the new Serie A campaign and it’s better to avoid the moneyline, so we will focus on one of our favorite props.
