Man, I just write articles for a living and barely have time to play video games. I don’t know how these athletes are such proficient gamers. Luka Doncic just lost the MVP award to Nikola Jokic but he’s not losing very much when it comes to Overwatch 2.

Doncic revealed that he’s officially become one of the top 500 players in the world at playing Overwatch 2.

Competitive Game
To put into context, there are over 100 million people who have played Overwatch 2 across the entire world. Did I also mention that Doncic has a model fiance and a baby girl? How the hell does he have time to get this good at video games?
There are a lot of impressive Luka Doncic stats but this might be the most impressive depending on who you ask. When it comes to Overwatch 2, I’d have to imagine that Doncic is the best in the NBA and that particular game. I know Devin Booker is a Call of Duty savant so I’m not sure if he could hang with Doncic in Overwatch 2.

Should Luka Be Focusing on Basketball?
Look, I’m not one of these weirdos who is going to be pissed that Doncic is spending his free time playing video games instead of practicing basketball but it’s not a great look when his Dallas Mavericks are down 0-1 to the Thunder in the NBA playoffs and he played like crap in Game 1.

Not sure Kyrie Irving would love seeing this NBA news while the team is in the middle of a playoff run. That said, I doubt Doncic is playing that much right now. However, he does set himself up to get destroyed by memes if the Mavericks get knocked out of the playoffs early.
Nobody cares if he plays Overwatch 2 until his eyes bleed if he keeps scoring baskets. The last thing he wants is to become the next Kyler Murray and have all these NBA rumors about him playing too many video games. I will say that it would be pretty funny to be playing Overwatch 2 and find out that you’ve been getting destroyed by Luka Doncic this whole time.
