Monday NBA Picks and Parlays: Bank on Knicks

We’re back with another NBA parlay. We have four games scheduled to tip off on Monday night, and I’m putting together multiple bets for a big win. I’m going to use a combination of NBA ATS picks and NBA player props to build our parlay bet.

When I place a parlay bet like this, I recommend playing each leg as a single on its own. You still make a decent payout if we cash on just two of the three legs.

With four games to break down and select our picks from, I’m loading up a three-leg parlay. You can always do a ton of your own research, but the trick is I’ve already done that work for you. Let’s get into the best NBA parlay picks for Monday night!

Monday NBA Parlay Picks

1. Pistons C Jalen Duren Double-Double – Yes (-130)

This NBA bet has been a money machine this season. Duren has been one of my favorite NBA player props all season. The second-year center for the Pistons is quietly enjoying a breakout season. He has a double-double in 29 of 40 starts – that’s a 72.5% hit rate. Duren and the Pistons continue their road trip against the Knicks at Madison Square Garden on Monday night.

The Knicks are a poor matchup as they are one of the best defenses in the league, but in the first matchup with New York, he managed to score 10 points and grab 12 rebounds. The second-year pro faces minimal competition, with James Wiseman shipped off to the Wizards and Isaiah Stewart still on the injury report.

Duren is recording a double-double at the sixth-highest rate in the NBA, tied alongside Rudy Gobert. He is among the stars of the league right now in double-doubles, trailing only Domantas Sabonis, Nikola Jokic, Anthony Davis, Giannis Antetokounmpo and Tyrese Haliburton. Ride with Duren with the first leg of your parlay.

2. New York Knicks -11 vs Detroit Pistons

We’re staying in MSG with our next leg, and I’m rolling with the Knicks to cover the spread against the Pistons. New York has cooled off a bit late because of the injuries that have mounted up, but they have an excellent bounce-back opportunity. Most people are scared away from large spreads, but we should trust the Knicks tonight. Let’s dive into some trends.

The Knicks are the fifth-best team against the spread (ATS) this season, going 30-25-2. They are the fourth-best team ATS after a loss, going 13-8-1. At home, they are 15-12-1 ATS and are the third-best team ATS as a favorite, going 21-11 ATS.

The Pistons are a middling team ATS this season at 27-28-1 and 14-14 on the road. In the first meeting, the Knicks defeated the Pistons by six points back on Nov. 30. New York can’t afford to fool around tonight because they are on the front end of a back-to-back with the Pelicans on deck. The Warriors and Cavaliers are also coming up, so the Knicks will want to take care of business against the weaker Pistons.

3. Kings PG De’Aaron Fox Over 24 ½ Points (-110)

Our last leg will be another player prop. Sacramento’s De’Aaron Fox has been one of my favorite players to back this season. He had a terrible January, but he has bounced back nicely so far this month. He clearly improved his 3-point shooting during the offseason. He is averaging 2.9 made threes on 7.7 3-point attempts per game. That’s a significant bump from the 1.6 and 5.0 from a season ago. He’s been dominating the field goal attempts among Kings starters.

The Kings have surged up the Western Conference standings, and Fox is the reason why. He has been on fire, scoring 33, 28, 30 and 40 points over the last four games. In his previous two games on the second night of a back-to-back, he scored 41 and 30 points. He has struggled against the Heat in recent history. Still, Miami is shorthanded tonight due to injuries and suspensions stemming from the fight that broke out on Friday against the Pelicans. I’m riding the hot hand and firing up Fox.
