MOUZ Failed to Qualify for Antwerp But They Are Back
After dropping their series against Team Vitality, MOUZ lost their last chance to qualify for the PGL Major Antwerp 2022, where many csgo betting experts think they could’ve had a good run. But that’s a thing of the past, now MOUZ is back on the big stage and they’ll be facing up against one of the Major semifinalists, making this a good chance to prove that they deserved a spot in Antwerp. MOUZ is one of those teams that can definitely put up a good fight against the strongest teams in a big event, but they always end up falling short in the important moments and they’ll try to change that in them IEM Dallas 2022.
On the other hand we have ENCE, the team that got defeated by Natus Vincere in the PGL Major Antwerp 2022 semifinals. Considering how stacked the last major was, it’s crazy to see that ENCE didn’t struggle that much until the semifinals. They only lost 1 series before getting into the playoffs, and completely dismantled the Copenhagen Flames in the quarterfinals. ENCE has really good players in their lineup, and that’s why it’s so strange to see them unable to win any of the bigger events in the CSGO circuit, but maybe, and just maybe, the IEM Dallas will be their first title.
MOUZ Eliminated ENCE From the Stockholm Major Last Year
There is a bit of pride involved in this match because during the PGL Major Stockholm that happened back in October, MOUZ were the ones responsible for ENCE’s early elimination. The teams met in the group stage where they would have to play a best-of-3 series against each other, and MOUZ swept ENCE with a clean 2-0 and if I’m being honest, they didn’t even break a sweat. Now this might be ENCE’s chance for revenge, or we might see MOUZ once again completely dismantle them, it’s sad to see such an exciting match up unfold in a best-of-1, but at least this is just the beginning of the tournament so they still have a chance to meet in the later stages.
If we take a look back at the European RMR A when MOUZ was trying to qualify for the PGL Major Antwerp 2022, we can notice that they actually were really close to qualifying. MOUZ initially struggled to win against OG, which isn’t a strong team or anything, but then they had to play against FaZe in a best-of-3, and let’s not forget that FaZe ended up winning the major. But MOUZ still had a chance to qualify for the major, they just had to win over Team Vitality, but they ultimately couldn’t do it and that’s where their run ended. It’s clear that this tournament means a lot for MOUZ because they know that they could’ve put up a good fight at the major.
Spinx Will Miss Out The IEM Dallas 2022
This is one of the saddest news regarding this event, Lotan “Spinx” Giladi will be missing out on the tournament. Spinx tweeted the following a few days before the tournament: “Unfortunately I won’t go to IEM Dallas with the boys because of visa issue, I will get it just not fast enough, I’m sure the team will do great with Snax with the Poland flag”. While it’s really disappointing to see that the team will be missing one of their core plays, we know that Janusz “Snax” Pogorzelski was a great player in his prime and he might be able to surprise a lot of CSGO betting sites experts in this tournament.
Now, we all know that Spinx was the best player for ENCE in the PGL Major Antwerp 2022 and of course the team will probably show a lower level, but this isn’t the end of the world for them. Let’s remember that teams have a decent amount of days to adapt to any sudden changes and they’ll be practicing in Dallas before the tournament even starts. Now ENCE has a chance to upset a lot of CSGO odds because as soon as they start advancing in the tournament, things will start looking harder and harder for them. There are only two scenarios, we will either wonder what would’ve happened if Spinx was playing, or Snax might be able to pull off a miracle.

The biggest thing to consider of this match is the fact that Spinx is going to be missing, and he was their best player by far. If we also consider that MOUZ has already won against ENCE in a convincing manner, then it’s clear who is the favorite team to win this game.
Maybe if this wasn’t a best-of-1 then ENCE would have a better chance to win because then they would have a chance to adapt within the series and tweak a few things as the matches go on. But I think there is going to be a big difference in favor of MOUZ when it comes to firepower and team cohesion just for this game.
