Monday’s Best NBA Player Props: Bank on Barrett, Bam

Things are heating up across the NBA! You may not have noticed, but it was another wild weekend for basketball betting.

On Saturday, the Celtics cruised to their eighth consecutive victory. They expanded on their NBA-leading record after they easily handled the Knicks at MSG.

Monday’s Best NBA Player Props: Bank on Barrett, Bam

The NBA took over with a massive all-day schedule on their first Sunday since the NFL season concluded. We watched the Bucks dismantle the 76ers as Doc Rivers has Milwaukee starting to click. The Pacers took down the red-hot Mavericks to improve their position in the Eastern Conference standings.

Meanwhile, out West, the Suns cooked the Lakers. The Thunder notched another win, tying them atop the Western Conference standings alongside Minnesota. Nikola Jokic produced a masterclass in the Nuggets win over the Warriors, and the Kings toppled the Clippers.

Monday night’s schedule features just four matchups. There are still plenty of NBA player prop bets to select from. The injury reports have our betting lines constantly on the move, but let’s not waste more time.

Here are the best NBA player props tonight.

Best NBA Player Props Today

1. Raptors SG RJ Barrett Over 20½ Points (-104)

I’ve been attempting to back RJ Barrett as we hit on him back on Valentine’s Day against the Pacers, but he’s been on and off of the injury report. It appears he’s a full-go tonight, so I’m going back to him again. The Pacers allow the third-most points per game to opposing shooting guards (23.8 ppg). Since being traded to the Raptors, Barrett has exceeded this line in 12 of 20 games.

Where this bet catches my eye is Barrett makes his living attacking the rim. He scores 62.7% of his points in the paint. As you know by now, the Pacers’ interior defense remains nonexistent. Indiana allows the most points in the paint per game (59.6). Barrett scored 23 points against the Pacers the last time out and has scored at least 20 points in four of his last five meetings against Indiana. I expect him to be a focal point for tonight’s Raptors attack.

2. Heat C Bam Adebayo Over 4½ Assists (+122)

The late-night matchup pegs the Heat against the Kings. Miami is in the thick of the Eastern Conference race, but they will be shorthanded tonight due to injuries and suspensions. Most notably, the Heat will be without Jimmy Butler. Adebayo has recorded at least 4 assists in six consecutive games without Butler. The Heat are also still missing Terry Rozier due to an injury, and Bam has hit this line in eight of his last nine games without Rozier!

The All-Star has recorded at least 4 assists in five of his last six head-to-heads with Sacramento. The Kings are allowing the eighth-most assists per game overall. I expect Adebayo to be the Heat’s focal point and facilitator all night.

3. Kings SF Keegan Murray Over 2½ Made Threes (+112)

I’m going to stay in the same matchup in Sacramento with our final NBA prediction for Monday night. I love the plus-money we’re getting here on Keegan Murray. He has one of the most egregious home and away splits in the NBA this season. He clearly shoots better at the house, knocking down 42.4% from three-point territory compared to just 28.7% on the road.

In three matchups against Miami, he has made 3, 1, and 7 threes. The Heat will roll out a different lineup tonight because of several suspensions and injuries, but I expect Erik Spoelstra to stick with his zone-heavy defense again. Miami allows the seventh-most three-point attempts per game and averages 3.54 three-pointers made to opposing shooting guards. I like Murray’s chances of lighting it up from beyond the arc.
