UFC Fight Night Props: Sprinkle Some Magic on These Bets

Banking on that Disney World Effect

Targeting Lucrative Props for UFC Fight Night

In the UFC’s return to Orlando, fans may see some magic happen – some R-rated magic, that is. The UFC has stacked this 15-fight event with some violent matchups and at least half could lead to a finish. So we’re here looking to absorb some of this Disney World magic by shooting our shots on these six UFC props – three of which pay upward of 9-2 on the UFC betting odds.

Let’s check the latest UFC odds, stats, and UFC lines. We’ve plenty of UFC betting odds for you to consider.

Pearce Brings On The Damage … Eventually

Jonathan Pearce (13-4-0) enters this evening as the second-largest favorite for a reason: He’s been on a tear and Darren Elkins (27-10-0) could be fading. In fact, the sportsbook likes this to fight to finish (-160). But one does not simply take out “The Damage.” Even if Elkins is worn out, it will take Pearce a while to get him out of there.

  • Pick: Pearce By KO/TKO/DQ and Round 3 (+1300)

Johnson, Diakiese Draw Blood

When Michael Johnson (20-18-0) and Marc Diakiese (16-5-0) meet, someone is bound to get finished. Even if bets online lean toward a decision, you can’t overlook the power both of these guys have. Johnson may be washed up but he can still crack, as he showed against Alan Patrick. And on the other end, Diakiese can either club Johnson on the mat or KO him in return.

  • Pick: Fight To Go The Distance – No (+165)

Hill Gets Jobbed … Again

Angela Hill (14-12-0) is tough but routinely falls just short against her opponents – four split decisions all against her. Emily Ducote (12-6-0) is not exactly bulletproof. But she’ll land the harder shots and win a decision. At +150, that’s the same price as Hill winning via the same method. We can’t put money on someone that is consistently voted against by judges.

  • Pick: Ducote By Decision or Technical Decision (+150)

Tuivasa Shocks Pavlovich

Sometimes MMA betting can be so simple: If you find Tai Tuivasa (15-4-0) as an underdog, put money on him. “Bam Bam” may be coming off a beatdown against Ciryl Gane, but he’ll still pack unbelievable power. Sergei Pavlovich (16-1-0) just dusted Derrick Lewis in a few seconds. But Tuivasa is still the faster of the two and he could just catch Pavlovich and his big head.

  • Pick: Tuivasa By K7O/TKO/DQ and Round 1 (+450)

Dos Anjos Becomes First UFC Fighter To Tap Barberena

Rafael Dos Anjos (31-14-0) is the night’s biggest favorite as he’s supposed to buzzsaw through Bryan Barberena (18-8-0). We won’t ignore the underdog’s three-fight winning streak, but “RDA” is on another level. Moving up to 170 pounds should help him physically as he’ll exploit the gap in their grappling to submit Barberena.

  • Pick: Dos Anjos By KO, TKO, DQ or Submission (+185)

Holland Comes Back To Beat Thompson

We feel like a broken record always touting Kevin Holland (23-8-0) to finish Stephen Thompson (16-6-1) as the best UFC bet. But the “Trailblazer” is a giant compared to Thompson and he has 25 minutes to find “Wonderboy’s” chin. It won’t be easy as Thompson and his karate style is elusive and hard to deal with. But Holland is crafty and powerful enough to overcome whatever Thompson throws at him.

  • Pick: Holland By KO, TKO, DQ, or Submission (+135)
  • Pick: Holland Wins in Round 3 or 4 (+650)
