NFL Offensive Player of the YearBetting Odds & Lines

The National Football League (NFL) is one of the biggest leagues in the world, and it is by far the most popular in the United States. Betting on the NFL has helped make it become so popular, and there are some great betting opportunities available.

You can always bet on each game of the NFL season, but that’s just one small part of NFL betting. This league also offers up some terrific futures betting markets, and one of those is the NFL Offensive Player of the Year (POY).

This award sometimes mirrors the MVP Award, but it doesn’t have to. The winner of the NFL Offensive POY is usually a player that puts up the best statistics during the regular season, but it’s still an award that is voted on.

There are NFL odds offered up for the NFL Offensive POY, and you can find these odds a couple of months before the season even starts.

The betting doesn’t close until the winner is announced, but the group of players will start to get smaller as the year goes along.

How does the NFL Offensive POY Work?

As mentioned above, the NFL Offensive POY is not given out once a player reaches a specific milestone, and the race doesn’t conclude until the season ends. This is an award that is voted on, and that does make the race harder to handicap at times.

This award is obviously only available for players that play on the offensive side of the ball, and that eliminates defensive or special teams players.

While the MVP race has turned into an award given to the best quarterback most of the time, other positions are usually in this race.

If you are going to bet on the NFL Offensive POY then you need to be doing this at BetUS Sportsbook. BetUS has the best NFL Offensive POY odds, and you are also going to unlock a massive offer when you go to sign up.

The current BetUS offer is a 100% first deposit bonus of up to $2,500. This means that your account can have an additional $2,500 before you even go and make your first bet at the site.

There are actually some prop betting options centered around this award also, and that gives you even more betting opportunities.

You could make a prop bet on which position will win the NFL Offensive POY Award, or bet on which conference or team the player will come from.

Betting on the NFL Offensive POY works exactly like any other futures betting market, and the odds are going to look similar also. You will see a long list of players and odds when preparing to make this bet, and you can then select the player that you want.

Here is what this bet could look like:

  • Tom Brady +300
  • Aaron Rodgers +450
  • Cooper Kupp +650

The first thing to notice is that all of the players have positive odds which means that you are going to win more money than you wagered. The number listed will tell you how much money you can win if you make a $100 wager.

Tom Brady is currently the betting favorite in the example above and a $100 bet would result in a win of $300. Rodgers and Kupp would yield a return of $450 and $650 respectively, and they are considered a bit of an underdog in this example.

There are some different betting strategies that you can use to bet on the NFL Offensive POY, but it’s really a matter of personal preference.

You are still going to have to do plenty of research to ensure that you are making a good decision, but having a plan can help.

One of the best strategies to use for this is to get your bets in early as this is when you will find the most valuable odds.

Even the best players might come with a huge payout prior to the season beginning, but that won’t be the case as the season moves along.

Another strategy to use is to make a bet on several different players throughout the year. You are going to get a nice payout if one of your bets hits, and that allows you to hedge your initial bet if you don’t like the way that it is going.
