NFC West Teams Rule Market
Super Bowl LX is over. That doesn’t mean it is time to take a break from wagering on the National Football League. NFL Futures odds are up and running at BetUS.
One might find it surprising, but the Seattle Seahawks have company as the chalk. Both the NFL champs and the Los Angeles Rams are listed at +850 to win Super Bowl LXI.
Now, a lot can happen with roster shuffling, trades, free agency, and the NFL draft in April. But getting a chance to jump on the dominant NFL titleholders at +850 has to make people think about investing.
The Rams had a great season, too, and are happy to know QB Matthew Stafford is going to return. That said, he is another year older, as is WR Davante Adams. Seattle has a younger nucleus and could be the smarter play … in February 2027.
The San Francisco 49ers also made the playoffs from the NFL West. They were underdogs in NFL betting against Seattle and were clobbered, 41-6.
San Francisco is +1600 in the LXI futures market. The Niners have a strong roster, except – and this is huge – every season the team is besieged by injuries.
What could they do with a healthy team for a full season? Who knows? And there is no guarantee anyone will find out.
At the Other End of Futures Odds
There are four teams in each NFL division. The fourth team in the NFC West shares the bottom of the futures market with the Miami Dolphins.
The Arizona Cardinals finished deep in the basement this year. They are +20000. Miami, which has a new coach in Jeff Hafley and should be looking for a new QB as the Tua Tagovailoa era seems toast, is also at +20000.
One more team that can be found around the bottom of a division is the New York Jets, Miami’s colleague in the AFC East. New York kept Aaron Glenn as coach after a disastrous first season. NFL futures odds have Gang Green at +2000, too.
Three teams sit at +15000 in NFL odds when it comes to winning Super Bowl LXI.
They would be the Cleveland Browns, Las Vegas Raiders, and Tennessee Titans. Guess what? They all will have new coaches in 2026.
One who seems a glutton for punishment is Robert Saleh, the new head man in Tennessee. His previous head coaching job was with the New York Jets.
Reigning Divisional Champs
The New England Patriots won the AFC East and were AFC Champs.
They are listed at +1400 in NFL betting on the opening futures. Be careful here because the Patriots played a weak schedule in 2025 and will face a much tougher one in the upcoming season. Yes, Drake Maye got them to a Super Bowl.
However, another young quarterback with the initials DM – Dan Marino – got his Miami Dolphins to the NFL championship game at a young age, lost, and never returned despite his Hall of Fame career.
Another team that could face the same schedule challenge as the Pats is the Chicago Bears. They had a monster turnaround to win the NFC North after finishing last in 2024.
That means a tougher slate in 2026. The Bears are +2500 on NFL lines in the futures world.
Other division winners: Philadelphia Eagles (+1400), Denver Broncos (+1800), Carolina Panthers (+10000), Pittsburgh Steelers (+7000) and Houston Texans +2000.
Teams to Eyeball
The Buffalo Bills always flirt with greatness and never get the ring.
They should have a good chance to knock New England off its perch as AFC champs. Winning the whole shebang is another deal. Buffalo is +1200 to win the Super Bowl.
Might want to sit back and see if those NFL odds puff up before risking dough.
The Baltimore Ravens are coming off an off-year and have a new coach. Will they return to the top of the AFC North?
How much does Derrick Henry have left? Baltimore is listed at +1200, like Buffalo on NFL lines. Let the bettor beware, here, too.
One team that has long odds but could bounce back from an awful season is the Washington Commanders.
They were a game away from playing for the Super Bowl a season ago. In this campaign, Jayden Daniels and others were injured and missed playing time.
The season capsized. If one thinks Dan Quinn can pull Washington back together, the odds sit at +5000.
There are NFL lines in the futures market on all 32 teams. Make sure to go to BetUS frequently, as the numbers change frequently.
A trade, draft pick, coaching change, free-agent signing, or roster move can impact the NFL betting odds on any given day. Stay sharp and keep eyes on America’s Favorite Sportsbook.
