Knight Has Already Played 8 Champions

In a meta where the mid-lane champion pool seems so shallow, it’s quite impressive to see that throughout 12 games, Zhuo “knight” Ding has played 8 different champions. Even though he’s played Ahri 5 times, it’s not crazy to say that Knight has performed better on other picks.

His Lissandra pick on their series versus JDG and his Sylas against FunPlus Phoenix were determining factors in TES victories, which means it wouldn’t be that surprising to see LNG throwing some bans at him in this series.

Luckily for Knight and Top Esports, even if we see some targeted bans towards him, we can still expect him to pick a champion that could catch LNG off-guard. In week 2 versus Invictus Gaming, Knight picked Brand, which is something completely unexpected in this patch.

There is one thing we have to take into account and it’s that IG is one of the weaker teams in the league as they have only picked up 1 win. But to put things into perspective, the last time Brand was picked in a major region was almost 1 year ago, and it wasn’t even in the mid-lane.

We all know how important a player’s champion pool is when it comes to league of legends bets, and this summer split looks like it’s going to be a very exciting one to watch if you’re a Knight fan. In the spring split regular season, Knight picked 12 champions throughout 41 games, in the summer split he’s coming close to that amount of champion variety, and we’re not even halfway through the season.

LNG Got Upset by OMG

Even though Kim “DoinB” Tae-sang is having one of his best seasons as his stats are reaching an all-time high in the carrying department, it wasn’t enough to take down OMG, a team that is considered to be one of the weakest in the league.

The series started off really bad for LNG as they picked up the first loss of the series after 24 minutes of the game, making it one of the shortest games this split. The game wasn’t even close and Zuo “LvMao” Ming-Hao was the one performing the worst out of the whole team.

LNG were able to turn things around in the 2nd game of the series, though it wasn’t an easy win for them. The main concern for them would be that LvMao was still looking a bit off, though his Nami pick was a big reason why LNG were able to get a big early lead.

The last game of the series was a much slower one as both teams had a very similar team composition based around team fights. We didn’t get to see a lot of action throughout the first half of the game, though OMG pushed the pedal to the metal after they had a couple of core items in their carries.

This loss was huge for LNG because if they had won the series, they would be in contention for 2nd place. Luckily for them, their schedule isn’t looking that rough as the lol odds favor them against LGD and IG, two teams that are sitting at the bottom half of the standings.

Top Esports vs LNG Esports Predictions

The mid-lane is where we are going to have all the action as both mid laners play in a very aggressive and unpredictable way. DoinB is considered one of the most eccentric players in the world, and not only because of his champions, but also because of his unexpected rotations.

While Knight might be a more traditional mid laner and his stats are way above DoinB in almost every single way, he can’t rest on his laurels against him. One of the biggest weaknesses for mid-laners like Knight is precisely playing against someone like DoinB, and that’s something that LNG might try to exploit.

But in the end, I think that Top Esports is far superior than LNG overall, and they have more playstyles available for them. If everything goes as expected, we can expect a quick 2-0 for TES, putting them just 1 win behind JDG in the standings.
