Golf Thailand Masters lines

The Thailand Masters is the season ending event on the All Thailand Tour, played in November or December of each year and offering a purse of 5 million Baht, or roughly 150, 000 US Dollars with the winner collecting 750,000 baht or about 22,500 US Dollars of that total.

The All Thailand Tour offers golfers an opportunity to gain professional experience in a number of events throughout the country, providing them a path to other Tours such as the Asian, Japanese, Australian, or even the DP World Tour (formerly known as the European Tour).

Golf Odds and Wagering in the Thailand Masters

As with any professional golf event, there are Golf Odds and wagering available for the tournament at a large number of online and retail sportsbooks. The Thailand Masters doesn’t generate the same interest as golf’s four major tournaments or other prestigious PGA Tour or DP World Tour events, but it attracts a lot of wagering in the weeks leading up to the tournament.

In the latest edition of the Thailand Masters, PGA Tour player and Thailand native Kiradech Aphibarnrat won with a final round 68 at Santiburi Country Club in Chiang Rai Province, making an eagle on the 72nd hole to edge out Phachara Kongwatmai by a shot. Although the tournament isn’t of particular note on the global stage, it still awards Official World Golf Ranking points for any finish in the top four competitors.

It was Aphibarnrat’s 12th professional career victory and the 32 year old will be competing on the PGA Tour after finishing in the top 50 in the Korn Ferry tour standings, giving him provisional status following a 2020-2021 season during which he played in 17 Tour events and finished 196th in the FedEx Cup standings. Aphibarnrat rose to 184th in the OWGR following his Thailand Masters victory.

Frequently Asked Questions

A: You can find odds for the Thailand Masters event on BetUS under the “Golf” section of the sportsbook. Odds are usually available several months before the event, though the field isn’t set until a few weeks before.

A: The Thailand Masters is usually held in November or December, at the conclusion of the All Thailand Tour’s schedule, with the 2021 tournament taking place December 16-19. The timing of the event allows players like Aphibarnrat to participate in his homeland without jeopardizing his opportunity to play tournaments being conducted by larger Tours, such as the DP World or PGA, which usually are idle from late November until the second week in January.

A: Betting on the Thailand Masters is legal, provided you are in a jurisdiction that allows residents to access sportsbooks. The number of states that allow legal sports betting has grown to over 30, with varying combinations of online and retail access, with each state having its own unique regulation surrounding the increasingly popular practice.

The one aspect that is the same for each state is that in order to place a wager, a bettor has to be physically located within the state’s borders at the time they make the bet, although they aren’t required to be a resident in order to open and fund their account.

Internationally, the laws of the country someone is in at the time of their wagering activity dictates how they can proceed. With online sportsbooks, popularity and access continues to grow, making it easy to find sites to use for wagering on sports, while there are a number of casino sportsbook hotspots around the world, like Las Vegas and Macau, where Golf Odds are readily available and with a variety of wagering options.

A: BetUS is one of the oldest and most reliable online sportsbooks in the world, dating back to 1994, and located in Costa Rica, making it one of the operators that can legally accept wagers from bettors located in the United States, regardless of the legality of sports betting in a particular state.

For betting on the Thailand Masters and any other event where bettors are looking for Golf Odds, BetUS is terrific in that the user interface is easy to navigate and the wagering options are clearly displayed.

The online sportsbook offers a variety of funding options, including crypto currencies, which are becoming increasingly popular with the wagering public. BetUS also offers a wide variety of wagering options for golf tournaments, including futures, head to head matchups and proposition bets.

Perhaps the most impressive feature of BetUS is their responsive and effective customer service, which provides quick solutions to access issues and difficulties with account funding. For wagering on the Thailand Masters or any sporting event, BetUS is always a great option, no matter where a bettor is located.

A: Although Golf Odds on BetUS sportsbook aren’t usually available until a month or two prior to the event, the favorites in the Thailand Masters are generally players that return home from other Tours to compete in their native event, such as Kiradech Aphibarnrat’s victorious appearance in 2021 which resulted in his second win the tournament.

A: With Thailand as a hotbed for new golfing talent, many of the top contenders in the Thailand Open will be players who have competed successfully at other All Thailand Tour events and are looking for a signature win to springboard them to the next level.

Any high finishers from the most recent Thailand Open events should be considered as serious contenders to reach the winners circle.
