Philadelphia 76ers at Washington Wizards Odds and Betting Lines

The 76ers have won their first two games with Joel Embiid back. However, the center isn’t the man doing all the damage. That would be Tyrese Maxey, who has gotten off to a phenomenal start at 34.5 ppg and 7.5 assists per game. Embiid is playing his way back into shape and is averaging 12 points in 20 minutes. Make no mistake, this is Maxey’s team now.

The Wizards are not great, per usual. Their one win was against the Mavericks in their second game. However, they followed that by allowing Charlotte 139 points. In their other loss, Washington allowed Milwaukee 133 points. You get the picture: The Wizards are a defensive liability.

Look for Maxey to continue his great play and think about combining him in the prop market on points and assists. And don’t be surprised when Philly goes for more than 130 points. Those would be the plays when it comes to NBA betting odds.

Tyrese Maxey points/assists over prop; 76ers to score more than 130 points
